I'm sorry but I just find it pretty funny. As someone says above, that is the action of a lunatic, someone quite unhinged. To have done it once is a bit nuts (...live on TV in front of millions) but to do it twice is just batshit crazy. And, fully agree with DHTP, it's much less serious than any number of willfully violent actions we see every week in the PL, just more odd.

What will Suarez next do is my only interest...I've heard that serial killers escalate in terms of violence, surely the same is true of cannibalistic footballers?

Just watched the incident again. It's comedy genius. His reaction to losing the ball is priceless. Almost like a baby chucking his toys out if the pram reaction. Brilliant.

He's a spoilt little twat. I wonder if he wears nappies when he's not at work, like those adult baby freaks.

In fact, what does Doomy get up to at weekends?

I actually had a Scouse mate at work today trying to justify it, ycmiu , Then when he could see he was getting nowhere he tries to deflect the whole thing on Evra who apparently was biting a plastic arm or something last night, Unreal. His last word was well at least we get to keep him now as no one will buy him , ))) SHAKES HEAD (((

Re: Luis Suarez banned for 10 games

Postby stevefromdonny » Wed Apr 24, 2013 2:46 pm

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned for 10 games for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.

Suarez pleaded guilty to a Football Association charge of violent conduct on Tuesday but rejected the governing body's claim that an automatic three-match suspension was "clearly insufficient".

A three-man independent regulatory commission met on Wednesday to decide the Uruguay international's fate and upheld the FA's assertion that further punishment was warranted.

The incident, which occurred in the closing stages of Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Anfield - a game in which Suarez rescued a last-gasp point for his side - was not seen by the match officials and was reviewed retrospectively.

"Both the club and player are shocked and disappointed at the severity of today's Independent Regulatory Commission decision."
Ian Ayre

Suarez has until midday on Friday, 26 April to appeal the additional seven-match suspension.

Liverpool's managing director, Ian Ayre, said: "Both the club and player are shocked and disappointed at the severity of today's Independent Regulatory Commission decision."

I have to say that the kids challenge for Wigan the other week was a 100x worse than this and far more dangerous. If someone said to me right I can kick your standing leg while it planted just above the knee or I can give you a nibble on the elbow I know which one I would take.

Zero consistency from the FA yet again. Is racism not a far worse crime than biting someone?? Suarez is in the same mode as Mario and Barton, they get the book thrown at them, Stuart Downing does the same thing, he gets three games. Didn’t Defoe do the same thing and get booked?? Its needs to be the same set of rules for everyone.

Spot on, however the media want a Lynching the media gets 1, Rooney abuses refs every week with nothing said or done by the Officials and the media or his scum club. Suarez is a great luantic of a player, sad he clearly needs help. I am sure you have had teamates who baffle you I played with loads of headbangers but top players.

this might sound odd...but did he actually "bite" meaning he literally got some skin between his teeth and left some marks? I doubt it. I bet he got some teeth on skin and that was it. Shocking more than anything. Lunacy, but nothing compared to some of the horrific shit players do week in or week out. And honestly for me it's not nearly as bad as the ref-bullying/swearing bullshit that is miles more disrespectful imho.

10 matches is a long stretch. Some of the Scouse filth fans will be long in the tooth before Suarez gets another game for them. He misses 1/6 of next season. I'd fuck off to Italy where they'd make him a hero for racism and biting.

cheers
