Pathetic fucking club.

Agreed unforgivable move selling the club captain to the rags.

It is truly baffling how a midfield like they have right now has been capable of winning the league at a canter. The champions HAVEN'T been awe-inspiring. All the triumphalism emanating out of Salford at the beginning of the season (mainly about how the squad is better than 1999) would have suggested that they were going to win everything. They didn't. When all is said and done, they went out of the Champions League with a whimper and were pathetic against Chelsea in the FA Cup, particularly for a team who supposedly preach positive, attractive football.
Arsenal were lambasted for not having won the Champions League and FA Cup in 2004, in spite of going the league unbeaten. Have we heard the same against Manchester United after the pre-season arrogance? I think not.
I try and put my finger on how Manchester United have won the league with 4 games to spare. It's not as easy as saying "they were awesome, and City couldn't defend their title". I believe there are many contributory factors. For one, I honestly think Mancini has a point when he says teams put more effort in against yourselves than the other lot. See Sunderland's typical game-raising at the Stadium of Light when the Champions arrived, yet their chicken-livered approach when Ferguson came calling. We (Arsenal) weren't much better in our respective trips to Manchester.
Was it a question of concentration and motivation? I still scratch my head when I try to believe how City lost points at Southampton and QPR.
Or is it questionable decision-making? RvP's last 4 goals have, unquestionably, come from offside positions. Add to that the tempestuous game Manchester United had with Chelsea in the autumn. If you cast your mind back, Chelsea were top, and given the way things were going, some City fans were actually willing a United win in order to get back into the title race! What a difference a draw (the fair result) or a Chelsea win could have made in that fixture.
Or finally, could it have been good fortune? Again, a crucial game at the Etihad, deep into stoppage time, and Nasri decides to stick his heel out. Could that have been the most pivotal deflection of the entire season?
Anyway, I'd like to end this post on a positive note. As I watch this exhilirating game between Bayern, the German champions, and Barcelona, the Spanish champions-elect, it makes me wonder just who would compete these teams in years to come? Could you honestly say, hand on heart, it's the Champions of England? Or would it be the team in 2nd?

In the end RVP wanted to go to them and this season shows that he probably was right to.

Would it have happened the other way around?
Has shit face ever sold a decent player to one fucking rival?

Do you think you can hang on to a CL spot?
PS. Van Pussy is a cunt.

He turns 30 this summer.I can only see him being a short term solution for them. They were desperate during the summer and took a gamble paying that money and so far that gamble has paid off.I hate to say it but without him they wouldn't have won the league he has been the difference for them in so many games.
