What is it with football and sex-analogies or rape-analogies? THere are so many analogies out there to use instead. I'll get started.

Bayern robbed Barcelona's fort Knox.
Bayern had a party but didn't invite Barcelona.
Bayern were like jews and Barcelona like Mel Gibson's career.
Someone forgot to call Barcelona and tell them to bring their dignity.

They're all cheesy but they're much better than any adolescent rape analogy. Jeez.

Oh Common that was rape not analogy pure rape of HUGE HUGE Barcelona. How do you get irritate by commentators cheering for Rags so here are we by commentators who jerk off to Barcelona (another sex analogy)sorry :). Last night they were sad. Find that rape is best describes what I saw in the two games.7 0 in semifinal of CL :) rape.

Well it seems you're very immature in certain respects then. :).

Also, I'm glad that you've had sufficient experience from rapes in order to see when they metaphorically take place on a football field.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Winter and Martin Samuel are two of the few media people who combine intelligence with an appreciation of the good football City play.
And Jagger will still be singing and spelling his name right for another ten years.

making such an analogy finished Alan Pardew's burgeoning career as a pundit. Which is a shame cos he may be relying on the broadcasters for a crust again soon

doesn't he have something like 8 more years on his contract? I'm guessing the payout on that ought to keep him in aqua velva and brylcreem for a while.

cheers

In my universe Bobby, jagger is jaeger and winter is wynter, so what...it doesnt alter the fact that they are both cunts. Wynters conduct during Mancinis first press conference is not forgotten. As for jagger, hes a tightwad who can sing until he croaks for all i care, he wont have gullible people paying 250 quid for the privelige of hearing it.

Guess that makes me (and the missus) gullible, then, Bianchi. Same as I am for spending money to come back & see City at Wembley. Each to his own. Anyhow, I reckon HW has made amends for that first interview with some decent & thoughtful stuff about Mancini since.

imo...

pep's fucked up...

he assumed barca would piss the champions league this season and he'd ride into bayern and take them to the next level

what has happened is that (his) barca side have been shown up as one man team and bayern have kicked on to another planet since he accepted the job at the end of last year

he's got one tough job

let's see what he's made of

If he has a successful first season: "My grandma (aka Heynckes) could manage this team."
If he doesn't: "Look what they achieved last season, they've regressed under him etc."

We could've beat the 1st team away from home if the ref did his job.

2-0 down by then mate, the game was already finished. The ref wasn't giving the 2 stonewall penalty shouts, he certainly wasn't going to give us anything at all.
