Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says Scott Sinclair may have to leave the club this summer after making just three starts less than one year into a four-year contract.
"This situation is difficult because I didn't give him a lot of chance to play and I think it's also difficult for him to show," Mancini told a news conference in Manchester on Friday.
"A young player like Scott deserves to play, so for him it was a really difficult here. He is young and has good quality, but here was difficult for him and I think that it's better if we can have another solution. I can understand his frustration in this moment because he didn't play a lot of games."

One of the most bizarre signings in our history. Just a waste of everyone's time and money.

Quite simply, he wasn't Mancini's target. If he was he'd have been given more opportunities. I think Mancini dug his heals in here.
PS. There were shots in the paper yesterday showing Scott and Rosie walking hand-in-hand. She was a few feet back mind.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

How long are his fucking arms?
I reckon he was a Mancini B-lister. He fit the bill as being a more direct winger than Johnson, I just think Mancini's had a good look at him in training and stuff and decided that he doesn't have the requisite quality.
Whether he's up to it or not, he has deserved more of a chance.

Imo this is the sort of situation that could get Bobby the sack taking a player he obviously did'nt want and because he is stubborn refused to give him a decent chance.Like i said only imo so don't think i'm advocating we sack the Manager i'm not.

Wasn't it Bobby that said he preferred him to AJ tho as he ran into space instead of only wanting it to feet?

maybe not as daft as some are making out....
wasn't there something to do with him ticking the homegrown player box that we needed to put a tick in after mj's and others departures?

No. We could have had an empty slot in the squad - it'd have as many goals and assists, too. What we may not have been able to do is fill it with a foreigner

what baffles me is the time he was used as a sub. alot of the time we would be losing and he would bring him on with 12 minutes left.
while it was a shit deal, he was never given a chance.
but at 24 you need to be offering something.
Still here.

What pisses me off most is he started him against Stoke away ... and we all know what happened there on ...

Dunno, i thought you had to fill the quota before moving on to the rest of the squad.
Otherwise you could just field a smaller squad of the best players in the world, with some 18 year olds thrown in for good measure. Perhaps if they are willing to let Sinclair go it signifies we may be prepared to included the likes of Suarez, Reikik, Razaq etc play more of a part next year?
Although still none of them will get game time wih Mancini in charge

Yap one of strange things .he really did not get any chance in our team and we had some horrible displays. How many starts in full 2 i think ?
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Why did we buy him ?,FFS every body knows the answer.
He was not a Roberto Mancini signing.Roberto Mancini was bought him by Brian Marwood and has refused to play him.Quite why he will deserve the sack as Gillie suggests for not playing a player he didn't want is beyond me.
Roberto Mancini judgment should be trusted, not that of a CEO,i hope the 2 Spaniards take note.Because if they fuck up ou pre-season buying shite players they will be history.
