He will be remembered for his 4 goals against Spurs and that goal against QPR.

I do not doubt if he played for a side that suits his style he will be a top striker in Europe. That club is not us.

To be fair, it was pretty much the only thing of note that happened.

We lost Dzeko long time ago thanks to Mancini, and the chance that dzeko missed yesterday is just a result for benching a striker for so long why are u guys surprised? Nasri and Silva they all had easy chances to score too. Aguero even missed so many easy chances this season. But sadly i agree he has to leave not because he doesn't fit the club, but he and Mancini cant work together anymore.

So Dzeko being a Donkey and it's Mancini's fault lol

Dzeko's apologist and fan boys are working overtime desperately trying to come up with a list of excuses that reads.................................. Longer than the Royal Wedding Guest List. it's lame, it's laughable.

Missing easy sitters - his first touch is suicide, the second is a tackle - Zero effort = Mancini's fault! ycmiu

He has been given plenty of chances and MOST of his "starts" he has been GARBAGE, that's why he ends up back on the bench.

Dzeko, seems to have done absolute naff all from the moment he stepped into the club. The guy is merely a passenger... and the only game where he's seriously turned up was last years opening game against Spurs, he ran riot then. But that has pretty much been it.

Dzeko hasn't been nearly as bad as some are making out and I agree with an earlier post that Nasri and silva and aguero all season have missed shocking chances. Having said that his time is clearly up, thanks for the goals and good luck big Ed.

I agree with what you say about Daily Mail, why don't you start a thread about which papers are City friendly :), the list should be very small but there are absolute nigtmare news from others, whose whole aim to spoil city's name.

I believe machesterevening, may be guardian has impartial news. Sun & Daily Mail are absolute bullshit, picking on city all the time.

The thing is, Dzeko IS CURRENTLY wank.

I don't believe that Dzeko is a wank player. He needs confidence and games. However he repays mancini by playing wank. We are not a team where dzeko can play 90mins of every game for 10 games in a row to get form. We need players who can just slot in and score.

In defence of mancini (for dzeko having no confidence), like has been said above, he puts in 0 effort and has a shit attitude.

The worst part is I KNOW he will go on to bag 20+ in Germany, as Mario will in Italy (although Mario is a different story, and the Italien league is crap).

Of course Dzeko is Bob's fuck up.

Someone like Darren Bent would score just as many in our side as Dzeko.
He's a poacher but he's just not suited to how we play. Square peg round hole.

what in the fuck are people going on about racism just because ant called the BH fans who post on here spastic? If you're offended by that it's certainly you're right to be so, but don't let your inability to control your rage over what someone posts on the internet lead you to throw around accusations willy nilly. It makes you looks stupid in addition to being spastic.

the term you should be aiming for is xenophobic bigot, or chauvinist. But that's only if you're accusing ant of thinking that all BH people are 'spastics' and also innately inferior to brits. He's only referring to the ones that post here ... which may be demonstrably true of the majority of you. If you think this is anything special, please pick up a history book and peruse the last 500 years or so ... you may learn that this mentality is the foundation of the entire british empire. They've all got a small island mentality, you can't hold it against them. Is what I just said racist? no, shutup.

Also, Dzeko just has not done it consistently enough for me this season or last. True he has scored some important goals for us, but then again ... so did Mario and he had much more talent than Dzeko ever will, we still let him go because for whatever reason, he didn't fit into the team. I don't think it's necessarily Dzeko's fault, because he obviously does not fit into our play style or team mentality. At the same time, he could have adapted and forced himself into the team by taking his chances. A miss like yesterday is pretty unacceptable by any professional player ... basically, he's not helping his cause. We have a chance to get cavani, who looks the real deal, and is a big man who has qualities to play in our team. Dzeko has simply failed to adapt. He'll do well in Germany, and I wish him luck.

Others maybe able to confirm this but he has according to my son 49 goals in the last 12 months for club and country.
His game is not our game which is a shame.

Not sure what the point of showing an image of a two year old news paper is - he scored 14 for us last season (our second highest scorer) in a team set up for Aguero, and is currently our highest scorer this season. If you don't like him fair enough, don't try and make up bullshit just to justify your feelings though.

Which is just ONE player out of our team - what's the excuse for all the others?
