I could live with that yes. I really want Spurs to make it to the CL. Dont particularly like the fans but like the group of players they have. Except one of the forwards they have. Bumping Arsenal down a notch would suit me just fine.

I fuckin hate Spurs with a passion. I hope they come fifth (if sixth is out of the question).

Why the hate? Not questioning your opinion, more curious as to the reasons behind it.

I know a few Spurs supporters and to be honest they're all arseholes regarding football and they are ridiculously jealous of our riches. They go on about us buying the league far more than any rag supporter I know.

And that way they sing that stupid chant "When the Spurs Go Marching In"

And I've watched City v Spurs four times and we only won one of them.

And we've got a terrible record against them (worse than against the rage I believe)

Then there's the cup final in 1981. I got married that day, and the replay was during the honeymoon. It all went downhill after that.

On the other hand I have a soft spot for Arsenal, probably going back to the day they beat utd. 3-2 in the FA cup final.

Lots of little reasons that add up.

Not sure whether al the fans still hate him but I genuinely think Benitez would improve Chelsea if they gave him a couple of years.

Sky were already getting the excuses in before kick off, listing a few names who were not playing and trying to link it to the title already being won.

At the end of the match skys stats said Chelsea only had 48% possession. They must have been watching a different match from me.

I too have a hatred of spurs for the following reasons. 81 cup final, Paul Stewart, white horse qf, losing our unbeaten home record under Sven and out of league cup, finishing 5th because of Crouch. Things are starting to balance out though. The 4-3 cup tie, the 5-1, the Crouch own goal. Just need to buy one of their stars and beat them in a final now.

United have been turned over by us, Chelsea, Spurs and Real Madrid at home this year. Pretty much the only decent sides they have come across. They got Arsenal at the right time.
