Cavani might be ours.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It's not so much home grown I'm concerned about tho. I'm sure we'll sort that and it obviously takes years.

It's more finding players in late teens/early 20's that I'm worried about. Every player we buy tends to be 25 and cost upwards of 20 million.

It won't be just 'home grown' though..we will be scouting the world for the very best talent and nurturing them from an early age

Messi is not a Catalonian ;-)

To be fair it's rare to find a teen though that could make an impact in a top division team..struggling to think of the last in England

Rooney as a 17 year old?

Think Nasty is one for the future..20 odd years old is a good age to catch them..you can tell by then if they can make the step up

PBL,

Stop worrying mate. What you are seeing is only phase one of the project, the bit where the 1st team was pushed on ahead to qualify for the CL to give City access to a higher profile and increased income and sponsorship streams.

The real project is progressing well and far more long term. It can be seen in the administrative changes, the proposed expansion of the stadium and the new Academy. It is all on schedule and at some point will catch up with what is going on at 1st team level. Eventually absorbing it and continuing on ever upwards.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

That's exactly what I want. Us to find top players right before they hatch so to speak.

Top players before they hatch is an oxymoron, moron. If they are top players then they've hatched.

How do you know that we dont have an amazing phenom in waiting?

Lee - Barcelona's youth system looked pretty sparse the other night didn't it? Like Scum, who lived off the Beckham Neville Scholes 'brilliant youth policy' for 20 years, Barca had a good crop, it's over.

Lots of bollox is spoke about youth systems. You've got to be very lucky to get the right players at the right young age.

You know what I mean.

Obviously I'm not expecting xavi, messi and iniesta part 2, more along the lines of unearthing the odd one or two gems.

Long term or short term the quality of players available is the biggest problem we face, money to burn, so have Bayern,Madrid, Chelsea are gonna blow FFP out of the water if the not so special 1 arrives for a second coming, PSG have a mindset of fuck it spend whatever, the rags are a danger when a player has a choice of Clubs, for me John, Bale could be a player who blows us out, however Daniel Levy if reports are true will not sell to the scum. so why not make Bale a must have.

Far from lazy according to reports he actually rescued Milan.. I also watched the game...

http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/acmilan/id/1487?cc=5901

Scored the winner (against Torino) yet again, his goal helped ACM put one foot in the Champions League, they're now four points clear of fourth-placed Fiorentina in third - he has been a goalscoring revelation, 9 goals in 10 games - 5 MOTM performances - 18 points match winner.

U are really boring did u really watch game ? Watch the game he score tap in goal but play horrible, fans are start boo him near to end of game. Lose ball not run at all , fall over staying on ground he done absolutly nothing until that tap in and he know he will be still in first 11 ,just watch the game anybody rational and impartial u will see what i m talking abaut. I never see him play that bad at City ,and i m not talking abaut other games so no need for statistic. But its intresting u going on to support Ballo with statistic and ignore statistic of Edin, real Demigod of discussion :). On other hand Cavani play great game score three.Just to add Seria A is really crap now to watch ,like only players 10 meters araund ball are running rest of them walking.

Oh yes scored that tap in unlike Edin the DONKEY couldn't do it against Swansea you Clown...

Of course I watched the game, read match reports all over the net and there's absolutely nothing that support your false claim so stop talking shit you absolute slimeball.

Here - watch online the full Match replay (Milan v Torino) In case you missed the game ;)

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
