Just watching the press conference... I love micah. I really hope he's on the team for a long time to come. Great attitude and I thought it was fitting he was captain today.

All religious players called Abdul, and from the same town as the Toure brothers in a pretty religiously divided country?

What Rodwell miss tonight really but he play good game.

Well to think we have a cup final in 4 days time a few of the players tonight did themselves no favours regarding said cup final.Yes i'm looking at you Kolorov,Garcia,Maicon.I also thought Lescott had a poor game and even though Dzeko scored a cracking goal he was piss poor also.

But he'd need to score twice the number of goals as Messi to get a half nod from the Dzeko haters.

I feel sorry for Dzecko. Waits for 30 mins for someone to fucking pass to him then does something ineffective.

Tevez was immense.

Lescott was wank, so too Maicon who I though was going to cost us the win,

Missed this match due to travelling and it's the 2nd one that Micah has played in and I missed for the same reason. I really miss seeing him play. How did he do tonight ?

I think I got to page 2 before I switched off. Why slag players knowing they've not played for a while, never mind played together?

After the initial lethargic start we took control and forced the play. We got what we deserved and went on to win the game. I never felt as though they'd get anything from the game, even when they put us under pressure.

3 points gained and another one in the bag, that's what counts at this time of season.

Can't wait for Sunday now and regardless of the score, It should be another special day for all Blues concerned.

Yep, it was a poor game, but effective and we were always under control. It does still concern me that even with pressure off, we struggle to kill teams off, and wba played an open enough game for us to really take advantage.

Was good to see rodwell take up some excellent positions, am looking forward to seeing him regularly next season as he could be a top player for us if fit. Bit of a gamble though, do we assume rodwell will be fit or do we sign again in midfield?

Tevez and Nasri were excellent tonight

Micah and Milner had very good games

Kolarov, Kolo, Garcia, Dzeko and Maicon can all fuck off in the summer - not even good enough to be on the bench never mind starting games.

I thought Rodwell played very well especially considering it was his first game back since his injury. Yet again, however, we missed too many chances - story of our season and why we haven't won the league

Mancini did his best to lose 2 points by going with 3 at the back again - we lost all cohesion and played shit, it looked like nobody knew what they were doing and I can't for the life of me understand why he persists with this shit 3-5-2 bollocks

Not a great performamce by any means but I'm just relieved we got the 3 points. Disappointed with the performances of some of the fringe players who you'd have thought would have busted a gut to impress the management but instead proved exactly why they start so few games
