Agree with both. I don't think his technique has ever really been in question. He strolled forward unchallenged to the edge of the box and then curled a beauty.

Deadly counter-attack. Chelsea under Mou will be our rivals next season no doubt.

Whilst I appreciate your sentiments 're spuds, surely it would be better for us to into the final knowing we have 2nd place in the bag? One big performance against Wigan and then no pressure as reading have already proved on Saturday at Fulham they're playing without the millstone. Norwich could still need the points on last game at home and we could be too easily be celebrating an FA cup win.

I guess tyical city is very much in mind and if spuds win tonight I will feel a lot happier, but with chelski winning at present then I guess it is down to typical city to leave it to the last knockings to sort it.

I hope that all makes sense????

If our players are mentally strong enough to score 2 in extra time when an entire season is at stake, surely they are strong enough to be not worried about 2nd place while fighting at Wembley and get results against Reading and Norwich?

Erm. Why is Adebayor playing in a pair of shorts circa 1984...?

I call it PMAA. Post Mancini Appointment Attitude. I would be shitting bricks under Hughes but the team under Mancini is a lot more solid mentally.

Neither here or there result. I would like spurs to replace Chelsea or arsenal so the group draw is more favourable towards us, even if it is only by 0.0001%.

Good point. I just want it confirmed for us so that we can focus on the future. Not too arsed about other clubs, on the whole.

I could be interpreting the way the Champions League groups work completely wrong here, but would Spurs getting in rather than Arsenal or Chelsea not simply mean that a PSG or a Juventus would go from potentially being in our pot, with us avoiding them, to the pot above? All of this assuming that we are nailed on Pot 3 this time around?

Good job I didn't make Benteke my skipper, this week
Walcott needs to deliver for me, big-time, though

Fair dos to 'Fat' Frank, though
(just when we'd sealed 2nd place, an' all)
