Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Sorry i like Bobby but his time is up imo he had no idea today Milner should have started and if i was Manager i would never take Tevez off unless he was injured the guy has what 75% of our current team lacks and that's desire. In short Bob's personal feelings should never determine his decisions which imo they did today with his his sub of Rodwell for Tevez when anyone who was watching knew Silva should have got the hook.

We like it or not, he will always be a part of our history.
My problem with him is that he is so stubborn sometimes, like today and he isn''t capable of changing this and that is why i think he must go. His relationship with Mario ruined our dressing room. If he had the boys by his side, the board would have let this season slide. All in all what went wrong? We finished second, got to the Cup final and won the Shield. On paper, this is a good season, but we look shite and this is what will cost him.
Pellegrini is a gamble, we all know that, but i think, well, from what i know him, he is a manager that players like to work with and that will do for me.
Goodbye Bobby, goodbye and thanks for almost 4 incredible years.
Then why do you say anything ? why not sit back , stop giving knee jerk reactions and let City get on with it. ? we are not the complete team yet, we're almost there.
Well, i can't start using names regarding Bobby, but that doesn't mean i support him. I think we must act with respect right now.
It is obvious he fucked up and he will go, but for the sake of what happend, let's not start calling him cunt, knobhead and so on.

Hes holding us back with stupid decisions and his lack of motivational skills.
Edit: Fuck me.. even Moyes would have instilled some desire and fight into that team today! And that fucking bothers me.
Thank you for arguing your point so eloquently - I don't entirely agree with everything you say, but I think we can agree that this season has been disappointing & we regressed not progressed - however, I'd prefer to give Mancini a summer of reflection, a summer when the club bring quality players in & if it doesn't work then I'll agree with where you are heading - I just don't think we've reached the end of the road & it would be premature in my opinion to jettison Mancini now
Just goes to prove how stupid one average Manchester City fan is.
Nothing personal mate, no offense. Really.

I want him to stay.
I think he'll be sacked.
I think that's a shame.

If I was confident there was a better manager out there and available to come I might be tempted to think ok but there isn't as Mourinho is off to Chelsea

I get your point and stability is a nice thing and something we do need. But the players we have brought in are stagnating due to his methods and its proving very costly. They are going backwards and the team should improve the more they understand each other but also gone backwards. As fans we know how predictable they are and we just dont ever see a plan B. There is absolutely no excuse for us not to at least get the same amount of points as last season.. IF his tactics worked. I think hes too stubborn and proved his limit. Time will tell but I dont think he will be with us much longer.. right or wrong.

This may sound wrong to some but life wouldn't be the same if we get rid of a successful manager, given our recent successes.
I'll be polite and leave it there.

Honestly just sat here now like.. waiting for an explination. Reminds me of being stood outside Maine Road when Swales was sat in there with his tin hat on lol.
But.. I dont think its being spoilt by success. I dont think we should accept performances like that after what we've spent. Get beat by all means but show some guts and fight.. its costs nothing, not even skill.

Im appalled by the result. I am also appalled by the lack of denouncing the rumours (by the club board) of Pellegrini taking over the manager position at Manc - as is Mancini. This almost feels like the last swan song matches with Sven on board. What good does a manager change really do - and Pellegrini - ffs, thats the worst I have heard in a long time.

Maybe, but not at all. It's just wrong.
I'll keep an eye out ;-)

I was the same about Pellegrini. But doing a bit of research.. he could be very good for us. IMO

Perhaps, but as others have pointed out, Mancini have won us the PL. Moyes have not. The mental bit is ever as powerful, and having an edge is useful.
