Hes holding us back with stupid decisions and his lack of motivational skills.

Thank you for arguing your point so eloquently - I don't entirely agree with everything you say, but I think we can agree that this season has been disappointing & we regressed not progressed - however, I'd prefer to give Mancini a summer of reflection, a summer when the club bring quality players in & if it doesn't work then I'll agree with where you are heading - I just don't think we've reached the end of the road & it would be premature in my opinion to jettison Mancini now

Like we do not have quality player now at list to beat Wigan

Wigan beat Moyes's Eleven en route to the Final.

So much for Moyes !

I was the same about Pellegrini. But doing a bit of research.. he could be very good for us. IMO

Perhaps, but as others have pointed out, Mancini have won us the PL. Moyes have not. The mental bit is ever as powerful, and having an edge is useful.

He won us league bearly with most expensive team in league .We are playing horrible for months now we going down not up and this tonight how u can't see that we are not team more bunch of individuals . He lack that ability to make team from bunch of strangers hes gaff with Ballo Tevez and this with Panti no plan B .There is many reason not just whimp of fans

I've said this before, I'm a loyalist when it comes to those who play for and manage City.

I would never say that there aren't better managers than Mancini around - that would be silly. But to suggest, as some seem to be that Bobby is useless is equally daft.

I find the notion that unless you win something every year you are the worst manager in the world moronic.

Far from it that hes useless but it s hard overlook that we are not on good path.We have one of best team in world and we play like shit to often , lose title by 15 points ,two years out from CL last time 4 place even Ajax beat us going out from Aston Vila , to much games with no idea what to do ,and this was sugar at end .Now i think we can do better even if we do not buy stars with this players . I do not have anything against him just think that hes lost grip on players and we do not have that atmosphere we need. That is my opinion dosent mean that i m right.

Apparently Pellegrini has a south american style thing going on and they all love it. Might bring the best out of Aguero and Tevez?.. Silva etc too.

Just what I read.

Why has the club not come out and rubbish these rumours?
Even after today I don't want him gone.
I want him to have one more season, then lets see.

Because

A) Our club no longer communicate with the fans

or

b) Its true

The fact that Mancini has said he doesnt know why they dont come out suggests 2 things.. hes not quitting and hes asking the question.

I think the club has not rubished them as sadly there could be some truth behind these rumours. If there is some substance to the rumours then it could have effected/impacted on the teams performance, as on today of all days the press got hold of something and ran with it, to what extent the rumours were exaggerated by the press remains to be seen.

Mancini has criticised the club for not doing more to deal with these rumours well in advance of today and he is 100% correct.

In a week where, I'm sorry to say it, the importance of building on success was highlighted, by a manager retiring after 26 years at a club who brought unrivalled success to them, it concerns me that City have done nothing to quosh rumours suggesting that our manager who has brough an FA Cup, Premier League and comunity shield in what 2 and a half years, is to be replaced by someone with comparably speakimg limited success, baffles me.

Have we not learn't from the Swales era or indeed when Bernstein sacked Joe Royle 2 days after taking him out for a curry and talking about next seasons plans? Perhaps not.

For all of you simply blamimg Mancini, well get you fucking heads out of the sand, you make lazy journos look human. You all picked the team Mancini did, apart from Hart perhaps and whether Nasri got the nod over Milner. The players did not perform, why? Well remains to be seen, but it's all too easy to point at trhe manager.

I wouldn't have taken Tevez off for Rodwell, Silva, who had clearly left his wand in Manchester, would have been my call instead of Tevez, but thats not the main problem here I think. I hope I'm wrong but on a day that should have seen us celebrate another major honour, it looks like the club could be in chaos - typical City

Just seen the game replayed, he looked miserable the whole match. maybe he'd heard he was for the push or maybe there'd been some row with the players in the dressing room about Panti. Why wasn't he wearing his scarf till he went up for the medals?

Silva looked the same right the way through. Also on the video on the OS on the train he just looked unhappy. That could just be nothing but it stuck out to me and his game was poor (obviously)

Well put, better than I've attempted in all my posts today - however, one thing you could say is that Mancini started this with the revelation he spoke to Monaco last season - he cannot have it both ways

I am still a bit stunned by the whole debacle. I half thought that the players would be extra determined to play for the manager after the news/rumours broke but clearly that wasn't the case.

Just about everything was wrong today and had been in the lead up to the game. Was there a lead up? was that a team just off form or one not playing for the manager and tactically set up bad with the tactics getting worse as the game went on.

Still stunned and off to bed.

They don't come out and rubbish these rumours as that would mean dancing to the tune of shit-stirring, two-bit tabloid sports journalists. They've got better things to do.
