He wasn't cut from the same cloth as the previous (whiskey soaked) manager - he seems tailor-made for Wigan in my opinion though.

Lets not make everything about us ... it's simply before their final home game this weekend when they'll be lifting the league trophy as well so it's just done before that ...

News and TV were always going to be about their league title this weekend and their parade on Monday ... they've simply added him on top.

And we haven't won it yet ... the closer it's coming the more nervous I am becoming ... Typical City!

It seems I'm going against tide with just about everything here these days but I'm shitting it seeing Moyes take over from Bacon. Honestly, a very very good manager who has very good tactical mind, great at assembling teamsm has players playing for him. Only thing he lacks is winning pedigree but that was never going to happen with modern day Everton.

I could've even done with Jose rather than him. At least he would've been gone in few years. With Moyes we have potentially another quarter of decade of absolute torment. Let's hope he is more Ron Atkinson than fucking Ferguson but I fear I might be right here.

Good thing is that he has always seemed top hate us. I love the fact that there's some hostility from day one.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I've just realised that Everton will get nothing from United in way of compensation. They played that one well, didn't they.

mmmmmmmmmmm? I have heard a lot of quotes from Neverton fans the last few years who say that Golum is a bottler when it comes to playing against the bigger teams and in the bigger games and if you scrutinise his record, they say that it bear quite damning evidence of this.

He's a cunt and always has been a cunt. That's why Taggart didn't hire him when he applied to be his assistant years ago. He didn't want anyone matching him for cuntiness.

I remember well how he kept hounding Wolves for Lescott and they told him that he wasn't for sale but he kept going back and pushing the price up (all above board and by the rules) but then when we did exactly the same, Golum cried and whinged like a fuclin big soft baby. He's a two-faced cunt and he will fit in with those devilworshippin rag cunts at the swamp but I do not think that he is anywhere near what he is cracked up to be as a top manager and he will flounder at the swamp. Rest assured of that mate:o)

Yeah, but that's basically because Everton supporters are living under some illusion that they are or have been somewhat competitive team in past twenty years. He has done pretty amazing job with absolute shoestring budget with them. I'm not going to claim otherwise. Big question is whether he truly has that SOMETHING needed in big club. We'll see. I'd rather have seen that one Portuguese cunt who used to be his assistant and recommended Bebe for them. Queroz or something. Now THAT would've been funny.

Apart from the times he took Preston to Wembley and twice with Everton.

He got Everton into Europe three times.

Apart from that you post is 100% spot on.

Hes fucking average at best.

His Champions League record is restricted to just one season with Everton where they failed to get past the qualifying stage. Yet departing United chief executive David Gill says: “The new manager has to have the requisite football experience both in domestic and European football.”
The doubters also point out Moyes never picked up a single trophy at Everton in an era when Birmingham and Swansea won the League Cup and Fulham even reached the Europa League final.
That he has never won at United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool in his 11 years at Goodison. That he was Ferguson’s appointment, Fergie’s man. And that his style of play at Everton is far removed from that expected at Old Trafford.

Not that far from what they've been served over the last three seasons at the fleapit. The filth are a long ball team.

He's honoured to be there so he'll do the job on the cheap while the owners and new director can keep skimming off the cash.

In spite of all the media gloss that gets lavished upon them and their supposed style of play, this is exactly what the Scum are.

Perhaps next season, when Gollum continues with this approach, the penny might just start to drop.

Gollum from what I have seen at Everton doesn't have the winner's mentality. Bacon Face had already broken the Old Firm dominance in Scotland and even had European experience before he joined them.

Gollum hasn't won any of the cups, when inferior teams have done it. How do you explain Wigan smashing them 3-0 at their own ground?

Gollum could be the shittest manager ever yet he'd still scrape the top 3 with that team.

When I say team, I mean the ref's, the FA, the PL and Sky. Not much of a coincidence that 3 Rags will be in prime positions within the establishment.

I'm off to get more tin-foil ;-)

Funny listening to TS this morning. A Rag phoned in and they asked him about Moyes appointment. He said that he was well against it when the media speculation was rife but now it's been confirmed he's slept on it and he now sees what good sense it makes; it's an astute appointment!

Fuck me, I nearly lost my coffee.

The next bloke said that Rooney has been immense but he's no longer good enough for United!

Fuck me, I nearly lost my Brandy chaser as well.

Made the comment when Moyles was linked to us - look at his age and look at the age the top managers win something.

It's possible he's a late developer, but the top guys, including Mancini, had won several things at that age.

We need to grind his face in the dirt at every opportunity next season - beat them in the Charity Shield and set the league on fire early on. Create the doubt, the fans and press will turn and the pressure will build.

Moyles...... I know we might be calling him that for a laugh but..... I spoke briefly with a rag today on losing the beloved Bacon face, he said he was shocked and seemed really sad to see the old cunt bow out.The subject then turned to Moyles, yes Moyles. Each time he said it i found it harder to hold a straight face. They really have no idea do they? How could you have any claim to follow English football and not actually know how to pronounce the name of one of the leagues longest serving managers.Typical Fucking Rag.

The pressure on him is going to be immense. When the rags arent winning their gates will drop dramatically. With the meter running at the swamp I doubt that he will deliver top 4 football. This is going to tick over nicely.

Why do you have to fuel negative speculation, especially when it's quite ridiculous. There is no indication that Mancini is going anywhere, FA Cup win or not. FFS the rags just changed managers, why immediately start talking about changing ours!?

I really don't think that there is another Ferguson out there. At worse, they stay as they are. Most likely they are weakened. If they should lack success one or two years it will cause them problems financially, they admitted as much in their flotation documents. Lets see how they value stability when things are not so rosy.
