Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I thought we recruited the 2 spanish pricks to become more proffesional off the pitch, fucking classless and apallingly handled by these 2 twats.regardless of your opinon on roberto mancini, he at least deserves some fucking respect, ffs he should have been treated better.

Chelsea have won more trophies than any other club in this country in the past 10 years. How you describe their off field conduct when it comes to managers?
I would describe it as something I would never want city to do in my life time or forever after

You do when all the talk about the club is negative and we end up being the butt of jokes.
In the long run it may be a good move, but that doesn't mean we should mis-treat anyone, especially the person who gave us such emphatic memories and success.
If we aim to be a top club, we must operate better.
Would you prefer it if we'd waited a week, then sacked Mancini and then started approaching replacements? What happens when Mourinho takes Chelsea, Ancelotti Madrid, Pellegrini PSG and Mancini Monaco? Do we turn to Martinez? Or maybe start tapping up Redknapp?

Duncan Castles has tweeted that a senior source at City has told him that Mancini hasn't been sacked today.
I suspect 'today' is the key word. I just hope it's sorted by Tuesday, as it'd be embarrassing making him go out to manage the team with the whole world knowing he's sacked. Be worse than Hughes or Jol getting sacked at Spurs

Isn't this the same Mancini that stayed at Cook's house a few days before Hughes was sacked and he was appointed? He should stop whining about how the club should say something and take a hard long look at himself.
The situation we find ourselves in today is very much due to Roberto's unwillingness to be flexible, adapt, and change. When will he learn we all say, well, when will he? Probably after he's got the chop! By all accounts he's fallen out with players and staff alike, his handling of Carlos 'he'll never play for City again' Tevez, his handling of Costel 'he'll play in the Final' Pantillimon, his handling of Mario 'to many incidents to mention' Balotelli..added some strange tactical and footballing decisions it's no wonder the players don't appear to trust him yet he still tries to rule with his iron fist.
Whether we like it or not the Spaniards are in there and have a vision, he won't because he's too stubborn, but if i was Mancini i would've met with them and and thrashed out what was going to happen in the coming years. Either he can adapt and we move forward or they come to an agreement and he leaves..
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.

Agreed. I suspect he will go Monday. In fact I hope he goes Monday to avoid a very awkward situation at Reading

If he doesn't go we may struggle to get the 3pts to guarantee second, or does no one care about that now seeing as how we can finish no lower than 3rd?

Are we taking that to mean Pelligrini isn't signed sealed and delivered yet or this is the biggest hoax since those fairies were photographed at the bottom of the garden?

We need one point from two games.

I'm taking it to mean one of two things....
1. Mancini hasn't been told officially
Or
2. It will be announced after the season finishes

They have got the job done right. He HAD to go.
Well done on the first part. I'd still like Wigan's Bob or Laudrup. But at least Mr Neggo has gone! Made up.

Read through his feed and links to his articles - very interesting, seems to think that we've moved now as Barca were sniffing around & we didn't want to miss out on Pelligrini to them. Mind they all speak very highly of him so hopefully they are proved right - I really can't see any other solution to this so a quick clean kill would be preferable although he is currently bouncing round a field and does need putting out of his misery

I stand corrected although we might struggle with that at this rate!

Barca promote from within and most certainly do not hire ex Real Madrid managers.

Well I was sure but then I was sure of many things that have since turned out to be false, I guess if your worried I am reliably informed that dry bread in your pocket is a good protection against fairies

OK, if Roberto is going to be sacked...surely the post of managing such a big club....is worth advertising !
Who knows who may apply, other than a manager from Malaga.
