Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!
by Lee_R » Mon May 13, 2013 2:49 pm
Sorry but think it deserves its own thread.
Never have we heard so little from the club especially in the manner of everything thats going on and with the media all over us.
Not even a - 'In response to media speculation we shall be announcing a statement within the next few days'.. absolutely nothing!
Its disrespectful to the club name, the fans, the manager and the players, some of whom do respect the fans and are probably as angry as us!
I cannot recall any club in the history of English football being so quiet at a time like this? And thats even before the age of the internet, twitter, websites etc.
Disgusted tbh.

They are waiting for the end of the season, after the game with Norwich.
Is somehow good and bad at the same time, good because we are waiting for the season to end, keep the players in motion for the last 2 games and bad because we are becoming a laughing mather.
All in all, i think behind the club doors, all has been sorted out. The manager, even the future transfers.

Made even worse when the shite coming out of OUR local paper is about voting for the new manager and "Taxi for Mancini"!!!
I havn't bought that rag for years and now a lot more of my pals here in the office are saying that they will never buy it again.
Well done Stuart Brennan and Co.

Agreed, in fact I would go as far as to say that since Garry Cook left the club has lacked class in everything they have done off the field, I was never a big fan of Cook as most of what he said whilst on camera was so cringeworthy but it is quite apparent that the club is now run by a bunch of imbeciles who couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery.

Hopefully we'll hear something a week today, after our last match of the season.

really by now it will be stupid if Bob is not sacked not to say anything so why the fuck they are silent. Look like a mess with no need.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I though the days of City being a laughing stock were long behind us.....how wrong could I be. From a shambles of the cup final to complete radio silence over the future of our manger. Like him or loathe him Bobby does not deserve to be treated like he has been in the last few days. Either back him or sack in, don’t hide behind the fence like a load of cowards.
We really had a chance to press on after the rags lost SAF last week but no we yet again shoot ourselves in the foot and look like a Mickey Mouse club. I was proud how we had started to conduct ourselves and was proud that we were not like Chelsea, god how wrong was I. Sort it out City, we look like a joke…..

I cannot understand this silence, if he's going get rid now, even if it means putting Tony Book in interim charge. Not doing so risks destabilising our end of the season and potentially p1sses off our current playing staff and future signings - who'd sign for a club that is a PR disaster waiting to happen???

Absolutely, SAF changing should have been our opportunity to push on with our current stable set up and use it as an advantage, not rock our own boat and put us back on the managerial merry-go-round.

IF hes sacked.. just stick Kidd in charge till end of season. He wasnt a Mancini appointment.

I'll be there next Sunday singing mancini's name. Regardless of the club's decision.
Club are acting like bellends over this. The manager that got us our first trophy. Our first ever premier league title. Champions league every year and a final this year doesn't deserve to be treated like this and the fans calling for his head can fuck right off. There was a time not so long ago i would have given both arms for the success we have had under mancini without giving it a second thought and so would most of you. Now all the sudden an FA cup final isn't good enough for the club or the fans and we should back the manager.
Its a fucking joke.

And will soon be forgotton when we start to play with the same passion that we saw last season.
Players do NOT want to play for Mancini, the proof was on the pitch on Saturday.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Club communication is very clear and regular when it comes to bloody surveys, based around how much money they can crowbar out of you.
