Mancini Vents Spleen in MuEN

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Rumours from France that Mancini has an agreement with Monaco. If they want him now, they'd need to pay us compensation. If we sack him, we pay him compensation and they pay him a signing on fee for the money he's saved them.

This could mean £15m to us and possibly £10m to Mancini. You can see why they're all playing hardball.

So this is all nothing more than venality? Disappointing, if true.

Spurge, this stuff was definitely leaked to the press in Spain, not from us. The odds are on Barcelona as they are supposedly after Pellegrini as well, although that's less clear. None of which makes this any more palatable, of course.

It's a disgrace that there is still no official comment from our PR Team on this. Mancini, whether he should go or stay, deserves more respect than what the club are currently treating him with.

Absolute shambles that this is allowed to continue.

We need to up our game because lets face it. The past few days have been truly amateur hour.

The Scum might well be good at spin, but the fact is that even if they weren't, the obsequious media in this country would still give them the softest of rides possible whereas, irrespective of what our Club does, the media continually try to rip us to shreds at any, or every opportunity.

Under these circumstances we certainly need to up our game, as you succinctly put it and, in the future, we need to be far, far better than very good. I just hope that vital lessons are quickly learned from this entire episode and it's the last time we'll have to suffer such an outpouring of hatred against us, from all and sundry.

These last few days have most certainly been "amateur hour".

That based on the assumption that Mancini is as amateurish as a Marwood/Kloss and won't reward such a fair backing the same way he did with Inter Milan, awaiting with cool for the best Club to come up with a challenging proposal, while being paid to enjoy sunbaths.

I must echo my friend MC above: "These last few days have most certainly been "amateur hour".

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Some of this shambles is going to start to stick on Khaldoon if he isn't careful.

Time to slam some heads together Mr Khaldoon. Leadership required to bring in some clarity of thinking mate.

He is acting on the shambles by getting in a new manager.

You go on as if you are on the fucking board of directors , stop bleating and embrace the new dawn the owners are going to deliver on us.

Mancini is and never was THE ONE to get us to the next level and I couldnt give a fuck how they(THEY, AS IN THE OWNERS WHO HAVE PUMPED MILLIONS INTO CITY) go about sacking a person that will recieve millions of pounds in compensation , get over yourself and stop crying.

I assume that a pay off for bobby would be counted as a non football related investment going by FFP and what some posters on here think

I gather you are glad to see the back of Mancini... you have been bleating it across the forum regardless of topic or what everyone else is talking about... which is the handling of it.

You are somehow assuming I'm concerned about Mancini going, I'm not imo he has done pretty much all he seems able to do, limits reached etc etc.
Like others I'm more concerned with the way the club has dealt with this. Not for Bob's sake, but for the club in general and being outmanouvered by the press, not least in protecting the team and club and fans interests in the build up to the cup final.
Poor thinking, poor decision making, slow footed and unimaginative in letting the press run away with it and getting one over us.
Now City just look leaderless and unable to respond to a situation of their own making.
In short City look weak in the face of the press.
It is poor Carl and you fucking know it is really. just cos your happy Bob is going is no reason to paper over this shit.

Did it not cross your mind that the club CANNOT make any statement for legal reasons?

I thought you were smarter than this ffs ! From experience a billion dollar company do a lot of behind the scenes decision making and at the time we all draw our conclusions slagging them off until the truth comes out which invariably is met with nodding heads from all levels in agreement.

Lets wait and see shall we instead of slagging off the owners who actually have done more for us than anyone at any time ever has done.
Lets respect their stance on this till we know the real truth !

And yes , Im glad to see the back of him but im pretty savvy when it comes to hiring and getting rid.
