it just baffles me that they gave him a 5 year contract at 100k a week.

why not something like 70k for 3 years?
Still here.

righty o, if you say so.

I do say so.

So according to your self-proclaimed savvy what obvious reasons can you come up with to preclude City from making a statement then?

Football clubs however big or small operate in a space more akin to the political landscape than business - the reason being they have a large passionate audience. Businesses only get focussed on when they do something wrong or operate specifically in the public arena. Football is a spectacle as much as a business. Like politics statements are often made to cover over an issue in order to buy time or simply that something cannot be admitted to the public/fans and everyone knows is bollox, it doesn't prevent a statement and just like politics a vacuum leaves a lot of space for a lot of damage to be done.

City need to get ahead of the media and show some leadership here, otherwise reputations can be harmed and the club and staff tagged with media biased opinions that could both stick and harm the club, in addition to ridicule (which I'm not personally bothered with ).

Your right to say lets see what happens - not your usual tack Carl. But City need to quickly show they are in control and not floundering. At present this doesn't look good from the new CEO and Khaldoon needs to kick some butt.

I believe its a legal reason why City have made no statement as of yet.

I believe we need a point for 2nd, and that's the only concern that City have right now. Asking for confirmation of his job next season when this season isn't completed yet is amateur hour stuff, I am sure Mancini wouldn't tolerate this sort of behaviour from one of his players when there is still a job to be done, why should he be exempt?

Something that is going to be somewhere on a scale of quite to very interesting is how the team perform for the last two games under Kiddo...

Need to secure 2nd as you say slim and we can finish on over 80pts. 81 to be precise.

I for one am going to be interested if the team responds to being allowed some freedom and licence.

( respect for Mancini due here too. Did a great job of forging a team from taking over and obviously taking us up a fair few notches to winners )

Hey Carl! does this mean Lescott can stay now?

well said.

p.s.
carl can't act like a girl. I personally witnessed his bad boy's huge cock. he's a tough guy... :-)
however, should this comedy be confirmed I think that Carl and, mainly Khaldoon, will have time to regret, when unfortunately we will be back to rank 35 or so on the Top Earning Clubs table and with FFPR fully in force.

Give Pellegrini a go against the Rags machine in England and he will do much and much better than what he has done when managed the Rulers of la Liga, with the referees on his pocket, the media wanking all over them and Tranny to solve several but not all the problems.

I dont know why so many people are getting hysterical , hes only a manager for fucks sake, its not as if the owners have pulled out is it!!!
I am looking forward to next season , I was actually looking forward to watching us play the scum at wembley but will now have to wait till the prems kick off.....its going to be a great great summer.

perhaps because rumours are that, after the summer we have awaited for 3 years with the right manager at the helm, the ko will see us lead by someone who failed at the most biased Club in the world, despite having at his disposal a couple of players of a quality we are still dreaming about....

Don't think the same "hysteria" would be in place if rumours were about an Ancelotti, a Klopp or even a Martinez or a Gollum.

Everybody is looking forwards, but some people are more interested in the Club success rather than a permanent moaning granted for fun.
