I don't think winning a trophy is their concern right now. CL money is more important to them and once their ground is free and clear I think they'll free up more funds for a team.

And tell me mate, why should they have wasted so much money on players not accorded to the idea of the manager who solved their problems, just to get rid of a mr. Independent, but should be ready to open up the purse to back a proven loser, again?

And how many Mancinis, Ancelottis, Mourinhos or Guardiola, do You think they will be capable to convince, when Pellegrini will end up 5th on the final table standing, next season?

I've followed more carefully the thread, now.
was just back and take by the rage. in the need to steam off such a massive mistake and missed opportunity to take over the Rags.

Wenger has done exactly what the owners wanted him to do, stay in the Champions League(assuming they beat Wigan), make money to pay off the ground.

Correct.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
