They mean every aspect of the club, "root and branch" would have been used 20 years ago.

What is the point if sacking someone with no future plans laid down. With Hughes, Mancini was already lined up so I hope it's the case now.

The two Spanish idiots best get this sorted and impress me with someone very good (didn't want to write special because I don't want Maureen).

spanish idiots ? ill hold you to that till next year when we actually make it out of the group stages and actually win a game

Apologies for my earlier twitchy fingers blurbing on ... I didn't mean no disrespect to the owners ... or even the Spanish duo at the top for that matter ...

No need to get so jumpy ... I was merely sprouting my frustration at whoever it is (and I don't know who that is) who decided to do this of all days today ... couldn't they wait for a week and let us say good bye to him in last home game? Couldn't they wait a few hours more and not do this on the anniversary of the biggest day of our club? And deep down we all know its the fucking press who've gone on and on about this with all the speculation which has led to this ...

Anyway, again apologies to any other fans whom my earlier comments .......

I want the old mancini out thread Piccs , there are some belters in there from JF and other experts...I think it would be worth bringing them up again.

I'm sure Slur Alice didnt need to motivate those Munich twats much this year!!

Before their Champion's League final victory Pep played a short film that he'd had made about Barcalona mixing up shots of the club and what they'd achieved that season with bits of footage and dialogue from the Spanish language version of 'Gladiator' - the players still talk about it and the effect it had on them, so clearly motivation is a BIG aspect of football at any level.

goodness me.

Mourinho. Pellegrini. Ancelotti.

@henrywinter: Re Mancini sacking: everyone's looking at the #mcfc board. Look at some of the players too. Some had serious issues with Mancini

A sad day, without a doubt. I feel terrible. But I don't think this is a bad decision, especially if we get in a suitable replacement. His politicking has cost him this job as he's pissed off just about everyone at the club.

Also means 'inclusive' - which the Catalans in charge are big on. But that's good as it happens.
