If I knew how to do it I'd be posting his celebrations at the Villareal/Chelsea games now.

Never had a better feeling in my life than that at the end of the QPR game last season. Also, when we played Tottenham away last season it was the first time in my life that I actually laughed out loud at how good City were playing. I also seem to remember a 1-6 at the Theatre of Cockneys. For that, and much else, I thank you, Roberto.

Thanks for giving us what we all thought impossible not so long ago.

You'll always be part of God's Own Club, as far as I'm concerned. All the best Bobby Manc!

Thanks Roberto! The most succesfull period of our clubs history in my lifetime, nothing will ever tarnish the first ever FA Cup I've ever seen us win, the first drilling of the rags 6-1 and the winning of the Premier League and the passion you showed us last season that mirrored our own.

Good luck, hope all is good for you and wish us luck as a club of the fans - we need it at the moment.

I am totally torn on this one.No doubt he deserves our total thanks for getting us two trophies, for smashing the scum at the swamp and for some great football but somewhere along the way it's gone wrong.

Why it's gone wrong I don't really know and it's not as simple as the getting the transfers wrong or complacency or loss of form or poor tactical awareness or whatever but somewhere in there I do think Mancini has made too many mistakes and with that has lost the belief of the players. If the players were still fully behind him he wouldnt be sacked.

Normally, around this time I would write:

"Thanks Roberto, it's been emotional."

But you deserve more.

Thanks Roberto, it's been really emotional.

Grazie, Roberto. You gave me the three best times of my (sporting) life since I was a boy, and that's 60 years ago. You said once that if one day you weren't Manchester City's manager you'd become their number one supporter in Italy, and I believe that. I wish you had kept your promise to Pantilimon and played him in the Cup Final because mostly you've been a man of your word; maybe you lost your temper with him the way you did with Carlos Tevez in Munich and spoke too quickly? Well, everyone's done that, it's forgivable. But otherwise, many thanks for all you've done for City. I saw the match at Wolves when you wore the scarf for the first time and I thought then that you identified with the supporters & with the club's traditions, so thanks for that. I wish you success and happiness in the future and hope you'll be back in Manchester one day, either as manager of a visiting team or as a welcome guest. Thank you for making the dream in my heart come true.

Legend in my eyes. Delivered the trophies that countless others before him couldn't and got right under the skin of the other lot. Loved his post match interviews, the wearing of the scarf and his little outbursts of emotion. I can't say a bad word about him really.

Thanks Bobby, you did a great job overall.
