So that's two managers sacked, and two complete shambles. Doesn't give you a lot of faith in their management style really.

Last time it was the right choice, my personal feeling is that it is the right choice this time as well
Better to do it now rather than have this sacked manager in charge of games nonsense

I don't disagree with any of that, it's just that they've let it turn into a media circus.

[i]'Despite everyone’s best efforts, the Club has failed to achieve any of its stated targets this year, with the exception of qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League'.[/i

Christ we can't even get the statement right without contradicting oursleves. So we've failed to acheive any of the targets and in the same sentence say we have actually achieved one!

We would have also won the FA Cup if the club had have handled this mess a bit better, though from what we are widely led to believe Mancini would have still gone if he'd have won the Cup. So on that basis Mancini would have been sacked if he'd achieved 2 out of 3 of his targets anyway, which makes a mockery of the clubs statement.

Shower of shite City, FFS!

Seems to have picked up over the last few days eh?!

Manchester City chief executive Ferran Soriano has ruled out a swoop for Atletico Madrid hitman Radamel Falcao and rubbished reports Sergio Aguero could be on his way out of the club.

Falcao is one of the most in-demand players in world football after another stunning campaign in Spain, and City, Chelsea, Monaco and Real Madrid were all expected to make bids for the Colombian.

However, Soriano says that City have never considered a move for Falcao, while he has also poured cold water on talk of a swoop for Brazilian starlet Neymar.

"Neymar and Falcao? [These reports are] false, they have never been on our agenda," he is quoted as saying on Tuttomercatoweb.com.

And Soriano has reassured the club's fans that Aguero will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Aguero was an instant success following his £38m move from Atletico Madrid in 2011, scoring 23 league goals - including a memorable last-minute winner against QPR that fired City to their first Premier League title.

But the Argentinian, like many of his team-mates, endured a more difficult campaign this time around, hitting just 12 league goals as City lost their crown to neighbours United.

The 24-year-old has been coveted by Real Madrid and there has been widespread speculation that he has been unsettled in Manchester since the breakdown of his marriage.

"The first thing I want to emphasise is that we have never thought of selling Aguero. El Kun will be happy to stay with us this year," Soriano added
