It's all coming out of the woodwork now! Is it?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It's all coming out of the woodwork now! Is it?

Postby Goataldo » Tue May 14, 2013 1:16 pm

People keep going on about 'it all coming out', so far, all I've seen is a cryptic message from NDJ that's like a cross between something Confucious and a Russian double-agent would say, and some kitman from Sunderland who's a bit miffed Bob didn't cup his balls and kiss him fully on the mouth every he turned up for work whilst at City.

For me, the 'holistic' thing, and a pig-headed, whingey re-iteration of his big money targets not being here, coupled with relative underachievement and the style thereof, is enough to merit his sacking. And I liked Bob.

Anyone got any actual dirt on the guy?

What's that NDJ message? Haven't seen it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Something along the lines of 'When you're all in the same boat, make sure everyone is rowing, not drilling holes whilst you aren't lookin. Know your own circle"

Something about rowing boats and drilling holes, and why you need to keep an eye on your crew.

And I've just realised this thread is perhaps a tad 'samey' with the 'What is Bobby's biggest mistake' thread.

But hey ho.

All I hear is rumours about rumours, hearsay, conjecture, and DANNY FUCKING MILLS HAVING A DIG ON THE BBC.

What the hell does that even mean? Boat, I assume, is City. Now who is rowing? And who is drilling? And who make the circle?

Too vague to make anything out of that.

Pretty much that. What's with that Cantona style fucking poem about rowing boats and drilling?

Obviously the Wrinkly Dawg has a better inside track than us lot on here. He's (un)clearly stating that whilst some are pulling in the right direction, others are actively seeking to nob things up a bit. And if Bob doesn't know his circle, he may not even realise who's been undermining him. I certainly wouldn't limit this to the players either.

Then again, he's Dutch, and may as well have said 'Yea, it is written in the book of Cyril that, in that time, shall the third one...etc"

It might refer to a member of the backroom staff.

Yeah it may well do. Makes me wonder though; what are the motives of someone trying to undermine the manager/club? Unless it's some Rag filth columnists, it would seem logical that Bob himself is the thing that is disliked? This is what all these wispy rumours allude to, but I want more than a sniff, I want the meaty stench of truth, dammit.

Players are funny creatures - I'm sure most of us have played the game at some level playing for trophies. There's a very fine line between responding to iron discipline and saying 'fuck you'. Things like the Pantilimon episode and the Hart and Nasri public canings are bad. Very very bad.

I'm not completely retarded. I even understood that seagulls were about media hacks.

However why not call a spade a spade. If you think Mancini is a cunt, call him a cunt. Especially as he shifted you elsewhere and you aren't with the club anymore. No need to feed media cunts with these bits and pieces that will only lead more tabloid crap.

But this is Nigel De Jong who while he was with us was talking to papers about weekly basis giving his views for everythign under the sun despite not being captain. I think he considers himself to be media savy modern guy.

I think these guys should stick their Twitters up their arseholes and concentrate on football and their families and being respectable.

Correct.

I've played football alright and I'm temperamental and mouthy little shithead. But you keep it in the family if you know what I mean. You let your mouth run in dressing room but outside it's all unity. Or at least that's how it used to be.

Football is game of dictatorship rather than democracy. You can't just all be there giving each other rim jobs. There's that one guy who is manager and whether you agree or disagree with him, he is still the boss and calls the shots.

Sometimes, yes, although correct me if I'm wrong but Nasri has looked much better since he was publically criticised. Joe less so, though he himself is more than ready to publically criticise the team, so should accept it when it comes his way during/after a relatively inconsistent season. And I think Panti was hoist by his own petard, saying he was off but 'at least I get to play the cup final' - no you do not my old son!

The only one that really stand out for me as harsh was Micah, in his comeback game. Although he was busting his balls like a madman in the next game, so...

Can't say I've played at a high enough level (flawed scouting system in this country, obvs) to have received public criticism from my manager! But I was always ready to accept criticism in front of my team, even to disagree with the contect but agree to implement what he wanted. Didn't get much criticsm though ;)

NOT if they were underwater ninjas who had like special raygun nanotechnology that could bore microscopic holes which you couldn't see with the naked eye. THEN you wouldn't have any idea until you had like hundreds of tiny holes and you were completely fucked. However, you've got all these rowers who you might throw overboard to lessen the load, etc...

Never should have sold the wrinkly one....fucking big mistake. Love that little ninja karate dutch black cunt. Love him.

We are living in the curse of the wrinkly dog era. He started that move that won the league. Until we lift the curse we will never win anything, ever, again. Ever.

That's what he's saying. A curse upon your house, fools.

Welcome back Ted

As for NDJ, I can only guess that he popped home to a coffee house for a muffin or summat. I'd had a beer when I read that last night and I thought I might have to give up drinking as I couldn't get my head round it! kind of got what he was going on about but.....
