I've not missed a league game all season but this is one 2.45am start that can fuck right off.

We'll lose then get dicked on by Norwich and finish third.

I'm torn on that. Strongly want to sleep through it but know I probably won't.

These players that have been struggling with the manager have now got what they wanted. They have now got no excuse not to perform.

I can't speak for anyone else, but for now I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt that the problem was the manager. However if they can't be arsed tonight and lose to Reading straight after losing to Wigan, doubts will start to creep in that the problem was not the manager after all.

The Blues travelling down there will deserve a fucking lot better than they got on Saturday from certain individuals (I don't think names need naming) and if they don't get it, fans will be quite justified in turning on them.

I expect City to win and win well.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

And we still won't win a trophy. 2nd or 3rd? Who fucking cares.

The people who have paid good money to travel to Reading to watch the match might do. Just a hunch, like.

That's not my point. Of course you want to win every match and entertain the fans.

But whether we end up 2nd or 3rd doesn't really change things big picture. Yknow? Our euro coefficient isn't going to change much Pot-wise will it?

I hope those of you who go to the game do a proper Mancini chant today. I think it would be a nice gesture regardless of your feelings for him.

Looking forward to seeing the players reaction.

Expecting a free flowing game, will be interesting to see if the effort improves (not that it could get much worse that sat).

Really hope the players put in a performance for Kiddo. I dont think anyone dislikes that bloke!

If all the stories about the players hating mancini are true then they have no excuses now!

Exactly if the stories are true the collective millstone has been removed from their necks should be very interesting.

Strangely very interested to watch this game for more than just the points at stake to secure second. As already mentioned how the players react is going to be a subplot within the big plot.

I'm expecting Reading to get the cup final that Wigan didn't. Gut tells me City will play with freedom and tonk them, head says other things like difficult stodgy game.

Wouldn't miss it though, could tell us more than anything else in this whole affair.

Will be one of the more interesting games to see in a bit. The player's reactions, how the team lines up, tactics, any new youth players included....

I predict that some players will be acting like a stroll in the park while others are playing to prove themselves right/Mancini wrong while playing for their future (whether that is here or in the shop window); basically a disjointed performance but enjoyable to watch. Intrigued to say the least.
