What if it was a kayak and Bob was in it on his own with the power tool?

What if it was a rubber dinghy and one of the oars accidentally snagged and punctured the boat?

What if the holes were caused by a woodpecker or a termite, unbeknownst to those on board, causing a lot of unnecessary drill bit-related finger pointing?

What if pollutants in the water were actually responsible?

I dread to think of what the comedic interpretations of 'know your own circle' might be.

I think it's fair to say that this will go deeper than most people understand. As one great man, or in fact a cat, once said "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If there was ever a man who's heritage made him immune to being stabbed in the backside as he walked away then surely that man is Roberto Mancini.

So, NDJ basically says that he's been stabbed in the back.

Goataldo wrote:People keep going on about 'it all coming out', so far, all I've seen is a cryptic message from NDJ that's like a cross between something Confucious and a Russian double-agent would say, and some kitman from Sunderland who's a bit miffed Bob didn't cup his balls and kiss him fully on the mouth every he turned up for work whilst at City.

For me, the 'holistic' thing, and a pig-headed, whingey re-iteration of his big money targets not being here, coupled with relative underachievement and the style thereof, is enough to merit his sacking. And I liked Bob.

Anyone got any actual dirt on the guy?

The 'holistic' thing is bullshit , a pervasive myth of modern day management. It's a buzzword, the sort of thing politicians come out with.

just think about this , if we don't win anything next season, will Pixie and Dixie still be retained to improve the Academy , get the right players for the first team ? If you extend what the Chairman said, if they screw up , they should be out after one season any season of failure ( not win any title , cup etc ) . This club is dining at the top table.

Something along the lines of 'When you're all in the same boat, make sure everyone is rowing, not drilling holes whilst you aren't lookin. Know your own circle"

What the hell does that even mean? Boat, I assume, is City. Now who is rowing? And who is drilling? And who make the circle?

Too vague to make anything out of that.

i think Nigel meant: when you're all in the same situation (players and Mancini), make sure everyone has the same mindset and commitment to taking the club forward, not sabotaging it by poor management, know who you are working with and know that slagging them off doesnt work.

Maybe?
