More than last season that. Just needed to sort the front line out now.

The best defence in the league as well.

Very nice free flowing attaching football, as they have been taught for the last 3 years, with pretty much the usual conversion accuracy of any of our not brighter days.

In other words, I didn't see much on support of the funny theory of my beloved General on the pitch, nor I heard any from the Blues on the stands.

Job done. Still a great hurting pain, thinking that we weren't able to find enough motivation to grab the FAC off the hands of a brave Wigan side, just battered by an average Arsenal and relegated.

Professionalism and commitment to the colours.

Anyone spot the difference in yaya? Ok, clearly a bit worn out but that is the first time in I dont know when that he actually looked 'interested' in defending the central mid area when we were under pressure. Totally different body language and positioning.

Looking forward to the final game to witness a bit more of this. We can still get a very respectable 81 pts.

Had the ball all night, had 30 shots, should have won 3 or 4 nil at a canter but made much harder work of it than we should by wasting chance after chance, and farting around with the ball in the final third.

Sadly, ees a normal for us this season. Where the hell was that play on Saturday? It fucks me off to the hilt that Arsenal did to Wigan tonight, what we should have done to them at the weekend.

Maybe without the bullshit, we would. Strange that 2 of the players that Mancini had faith in were given a rest tonight.

Just watching the game tonight you could see the shackles were off. Despite loathing Mancini( and I think you are gonna hear a lot of stories of just what an arrogant twat he was)my main objection to him was his system was stifling the players. We were so busy keeping our shape we forgot to disrupt theirs. Probing is all very well but eventually her in doors is gonna want some penetration. Tonight you saw players flooding forwards and we made a host of clear cut chances and players were clearly enjoying themselves. IMO the only real task for the next manager is to start working on some precise crosses and movement for them because Mancini ignored it and we're fucking hopeless at it. Probably Garcia and Nasri aside, there is feck all wrong with the players. On the man, Alan Smith said it all....if you manage by antagonism you have a short shelf life. Got to say I enjoyed the close ups of Kiddo who was clearly enjoying himself being neurotic. My kind of man and coach. Got to say I thought Platt did better than I expected. Very much looking forward to an attacking team with spirit.

Id like to see Razak in for Yaya and Suarez and Lopes in.

I actually thought that he looked fairly disinterested and unmotivated today. Hmm. I must've missed something.

Just saw the game this morning at work and i really feel a bit sick.

Ok, Reading are relegated, but our boys were perfect without even trying to hard and this is what worries me. Now i am almost convinced that they didn't give their best in the final with Wigan.

Really sad, but i almost certain that is what happen. Does this team look like one that could lose a final like that? When did City did something like that in this new era?

Never.
