Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I congratulated them their well deserved win on Saturday. But their relegation has been a long time coming. You cannot start playing football in April and continue to get away with it.
A season in the Championship, combined with a possible Europa League run means they won't be coming back any time soon. I can't see how they will be missed either.
Not sure how to evaluate Martinez. He has shown flashes of being a good manager but has not taken them to the next level and now has a relegation next to his name. With Swansea winning a cup and finishing mid table you cannot blame the resources for not staying up this year.

I seen a stat earlier on BBC...of 170 games Martinez has won something like 35.

I do belive that, in terms of finishing position, Steve Bruce had a better record than Martinez - might be wrong though.

To be fair every year he has his best players sold from underneath him, this was always going to happen at some point

Keeping Gary Caldwell not only in the side but as captain was a poor decision as well. Total liability.
When he got up to lift the cup on Saturday I turned to a mate and said "Gary Caldwell lifting a major trophy, I have seen it all now."
Worst Scottish center half I may have ever seen in dark blue.

I'd have rather seen Sunderland or Villa relegated.

Sunderland for me. What is the point of that club at the moment? At least Villa are having a go with kids.

Good point about the yes-vote. Now that you said it I'm hoping that in the coming years everyone who voted yes would somehow get relegated

Don't know man, but I would rather they stay. Just can't hate them after this:

Loved the way they wound up the rags.

Martinez may as well burst into the first few bars of "freedom" during his interview - could barely keep the smile from his face !

How have they 'started playing football in April' this season? Their form has been as wank as it has all season over the last six or seven games, if not worse.
