We seem to have short memories! Platt did a good job and also have it back to journalists who were stirring it up last season. Respect to him to standing by his mate and principles

Balls. He was here to do a job. He did a couple of good pressers but that was it. Someone already mentioned the ridiculous length of time it took him getting players off the bench onto the pitch. Not to mention the bits of paper.

Rewind...... The guy did NOT have a good word to say about us prior to coming with Mancini. Memories are not that poor.

Oh and he will be the first to be spouting shite about us now. I will give him two days!

By all accounts he's also leaked stuff to the press from time to time.

He was part of the team that brought the banner down. The potato headed cunt will do for me.

Hated him when he came. But I thought he did OK. No worries, his cv's better than when he was relegating Forest and telling Sweep he'd never make a footballer.

Urban myth. Sweep left Forest months before Platt got there. He did a good job for us in a successful period and we should be acknowledging that.

his next interview will speak volumes. thought he stuck for us whilst at the club but not done enough to neutralise the despicable things he's said to us in the past

The Sunday papers will be full of City exclusives over the summer. Trust me.

Might be already covered elsewhere but himself and Nasti were 'tired'. Expect both to play Sunday, no panic needed!

Nothing really to say on Platt, no loss.

I think it was so our captain did not have to face the media. He would have been asked questions neither the club or the ex manager want to be asked.

Good call actually, Kompany is extremely honest and eloquent so would probably have opened up if asked.

Either way, there's nothing to suggest he's on his way out or any of that nonsense.

Kind of funny, Vieira calls Platt the worst roommate that he's ever had (around 4:50):

Platt gone.

Good!

Bad choice by Mancini. Their fortunes tied. He was well paid. Better out.
