Pardiola

Basically Pardew said that he doesn't care whether he loses 4-0 AT HOME to Arsenal now that Newcastle have survived relegation.

He said:
‘I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 [next weekend], if I’m honest. I’m sure Spurs will, but I only care that our fans enjoy themselves.’

What sort of shit comment is this and why has this gone under the radar? I can bet their team won't even turn up now in the last game. I know some Spuds are rightly miffed with this. How the NUFC fans enjoy losing 4-0 at home especially after disasters like their derby and the Liverpool drubbing at home is beyond me.

I used to think of him as decent person but he is getting more and more annoying. The media bias is also apparent. He got rave reviews after last season and then for his bargain shopping in France in January, but now that everything has gone squat, I haven't seen a single article asking for his sacking or criticizing him while we have the entire media hounding us.

I feel sorry for the Newcastle fans. How will they tolerate him for 8 years?

Pretty sure it was intended as a joke, presumably having secured Premiership status he was joking he couldn't care less about the next result? Given his last two home results, another 4-0 drubbing could surely see him sacked

It was a joke as he admitted about an hour later when the Twitter crew were up in arms over it!

but it's also pretty much what Kiddo said when asked what to expect against Norwich:

I was asked to look after things for 2 games, we needed 3 points to secure 2nd, that was the least we could do, we've got them now, we're not greedy
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Does this mean Kidd met the targets the board gave him? Is he our new manager going forward??

Depends how he gets on with the holistic therapy. If he can get the whale music right and give everyone a massage, he's in with a shout.
