Manchester City vs Chelsea match thread

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

What we´re seeing is what has always concerned me about Hughes - no tactical nous whatsoever - 4-4-2 or 4-4-3 against this Chelski side is suicide - it´s all about the result yet Hughes seems to think we can outplay them pound for pound

Barry is getting found out big time

Wonderful run by Toure then but he had noone to pass the ball to. I want to see movement of the ball and when we are defending. Press the ball harder lads!!

We seem rather static, perhaps intimidated?

i think if we were somehow allowed to play 4-4-3 that could make all the difference today

Problem here is they can defend like Stoke, 9 men behind the ball, break like arsenal, and finsh like Scum.

They work SO fucking hard all over the pitch. I think it'll end up 1-2 last min Drogba from a Richards fuck up

I would hate to have to defend against Tevez. He wouldn't give you a second on the ball. Class act.

Good response since the goal , plenty of intensity although you just feel a second for them is just another mistake away - we have to chase now so theres gonna be gaps I fear

Ancelotti explaining to the 4th official that Anelka made a fine tackle on Richards.
