He's out there somewhere right now waiting to be signed by Athletico or similar.

Jackson Martinez?

Maybe.

Not seen enough of him.

There's a lad in France we are sometimes linked with who looks seriously fucking lively but I can't remember his name or who he plays for !

http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/st ... MP=OTC-RSS

Jesus Navas has suggested he will leave Sevilla this season and that it would be a "dream" to play under presumed new Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini.

The Sevilla winger has been heavily linked in Spain with a move to team up with Pellegrini at Eastlands, given his current club's financial problems and City sporting director Txiki Begiristain's plans to implement a new footballing style at the club.

The World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012 winner, 27, told Spanish TV channel La Sexta that the idea of moving to one of Europe's biggest clubs was exciting.

"You can be excited when you are there and you dream, but we are going to wait until the season ends and for summer to come to see what happens," Navas said. "We would have to see if both clubs could come to an agreement."

The idea of working under Pellegrini was also very appealing, Navas said.

"Pellegrini is a coach who has given a lot in every place he has been, with very nice football," he said. "He looks like a great person."

Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido has admitted regularly in recent months that the club's perilous financial situation meant leading players could be sold in the summer. Navas, who came through the ranks at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan and has made over 400 appearances in 10 seasons at the club, said he was not unhappy in Sevilla but did want to be challenging for titles.

"I am ready for everything," Navas said. "You want to keep growing and fighting for trophies when you are used to these nice things, but I am happy here."

That looks very solid.I would have no complaints if he signed.Quality player.

Provided he settles here.

The whole club will be speaking Spanish by Septemeber Ted, any news on our missing captain, anything.

I would be happy if Navas came. His 27m euro release clause is quite alot for him.

It is interesting that it sounds like his interest in coming here is his desire to play for Pellegrini.
So I guess it must be 99% certain he will be our new manager and he wont be tempted by Barca?

I heard Navas suffers from anxiety problems!

If we do sign him, I hope he can settle quickly.

I would like to see if Edin do better under Pellegrini with wingers .To go now when team would have plan B better motivator would be sad but if he go then i would not spend 50 mil on player i m sure we can find solution , maybe Michu .

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I like Michu, but I don't think he would excel in Europe. He wouldn't improve us.

Wiki 'He suffers from chronic homesickness,[22] to the extent he walked out of training camps within Spain because they were too far away from Seville. He also suffers from anxiety attacks[23] and seizures.[24] Navas initially refused to travel with Sevilla during pre-season to the United States due to his acute homesickness, later deciding that he would travel in a bid to rid himself of this condition'

ffs typical City.

Hmm mate that is araund 150 mil minimum for 3 players there is that thing now u cant spend like mad and for me paying 3 players 150 mil and then watch Borussia in Final or Malaga and Glata in last 8 we do not need names we need good manager who can spot players and good motivator who can make team unit and take from all players 100 %.

Falcao is at list 50 and when we buying that is 10 mil more, Bale is even more Real is prepare to spend araund 80 on him even if that is not true that is at list 60 and then any Borrussia player let say Reus is araund 40 so 150 at list plus insane salary for 3 players and in that case we must sell well at list Tevez Edin Nasri and few more players just to balance books . I think we have great players with Isco and maybe Navas we have width and plan B and we do not need to sell many players. And this manager is done great with a lot lesser team. So 150 mil for 3 players and we must sell 5 or 6 just to balance Book i vote no . We buy enough stars and still did not pass group in CL . Lets first try manager and sane spending and maybe use some players from our young team. Pellegrini from Malaga who is like West Brom of English league , we all know what he make of that club and think hes one off managers who don't blame players and ask more players more money all the time.

It's probably safe to say we're not buying Bale (or Falcao) so squabbling over these figures is useless.

True point saul although there was a strong rumour that we made an offer for ronaldo last season that was accepted, and that was why he was all sulky at the start of the season - that would have been big money

As for the article about players that are assumed to leave like RSC - i think its right, all bets are off as to who is leaving the club this summer, i wouldnt be surprised if rocky stays

It would be proper roy of the rovers stuff if he did, and did the business next season.

Some on here would go fucking mental, but if he has stayed fit for a full season why not keep him around as a reserve if pellegrini knows how to use him.

I would. His contract expires in a month. I can't see us offering him a new one.
