Looks to me that you've just clicked search DM into FIFA transfer mode and named everyone you recognize.

Joke of a post.

More proof that you are a nob.
I dont have whatever game you assume I do but there is a list of the top Dms in the world and that has people like Xabi,DDR,Busquets,De Jong and a few others. No Gareth mentioned anywhere.

Considering you named two players from our own team that clearly haven't managed to do that job for one reason or another I'd say you've again been rumbled as a no nothing, argumentative fool.

Why do you bother? Is your life that shit?

So now that he no longer plays for us you are recognising de Jong as a top player - despite arguing the contrary while he was actually here. Instead you have moved on to criticise another City player instead. If I could be bothered I'd go and dig up some of your comments about Nige but I'm too lazy.

Being lazy is my forte so I can understand that and, my only critisism of Nigel was I thought he was a bit rough, but if you want to lie I will get over it.
Oh by the way it was not my list, just what somebody else thinks.

So:

Even though today's game was a meaningless kick around, involving two teams with nothing to play for, some of us have spent the last few years sat in our little seat, watching the days when City get it right or wrong, big games, small games etc etc, & some of us, let's say in this case ME, see the whole pitch from our little angle, & see moments in games where the team shape has suddenly become that of a pear, people have gone a wandering, Mancini is in our eye line, flapping his fucking arms about like a penguin on coke, screaming his fucking head off, the oppo sees a huge area of the pitch to play the ball into, we are in deep deep shit if they play the right pass, & they do, & this slow cunt with a city shirt on, appears from nowhere, just picks it off, chests it down & passes it to Yaya Toure. Half the cunts in the ground who were busy arguing with each other whether Dzeko was interested or not, or if Nasri should be on the pitch, just take it for granted that, of course somebody is in that position.

20,000,000 people watching on TV don't even realise anything has happened because thecamera was facing towards the other end of the pitch & on we go.

Well today, when Kolarov was swanning aroud half way up the fucking pitch, or Yaya Toure disappeared & left 3 Norwich players running unnoposed at our back 4 & Lescott had to come out from CB TIME AND AGAIN to chuck himself into unwinnable situations just because NO OTHER CUNT WAS DOING IT.

There's too many on here that just don't see it, unfortunately, and never will. I'm certain that had Barry been playing today they wouldn't have scored that 3rd goal

I wonder how teams without the Gareth Barry get by ...

Kidding aside, we are in deep shit as a team if the only reason that we aren't shipping 3+ goals every time we play a team of norwich's calibre is because we have gareth barry sitting in our midfield. Something is badly wrong with our team setup.

barry was compared to makelele (was that you ted? i'm sorry i've forgotten where it was posted), and i agree they fill similar roles in the team, except that barry is nowhere near as good as makelele at it. The other thing to mention is, there were teams during, before and after that who found success without a makelele role, and in totally different systems.

I like barry, as a player and as a person ... but my opinion is that i'd rather have a different system of play, than rely so heavily on an aging barry so much. It's a good option to have, no doubt ... but I don't think it should be the normal system. Again, that's my opinion, but I hope that anyone coming in can be an adaptive coach.

Barry has a place in the squad next year, as he is the sort of player who is happy to do the dirty work that a manager values, but fans really dont. That's why Barry was always amongst the first names on Mancini's team sheet.

Fact is, Barry, De Jong, Makelele all players who excel at a particular job, and generally suck when they are asked to do something a little different. Barry is arguably not in the same league as Makelele and De Jong for the tackling element, but positionally, he needs to male less tackles than both because he harrasses the ball off the opposition without needing to make the flashy sliding tackle. He can also, unlike de jong, pass the ball In a direction other than backwards. However he dwells on the ball on occasions, slows our transition from defence into attack, and almost never shows for a return ball which is a particular bugbear of mine.

But overall, Ted is right about yesterdays game - we were all at sea in that space in front of the back 4, and you could attribute at least two of the goals to the lack of a screening player. However thats more than likely because we didnt setup with someone in that particular position yesterday rather than just because Barry was missing.

Added to that, he is english, this fact alone makes it highly likely he will be kept around to be part of our champions league squad, as the alternative is to bring an untried youngster into the squad in his place, or spend god knows how much on an overrated english player

Yap Barry is slow had couple bad games but Norwich show me how much we are just hole without him or some player like him, because we seams do not have sub since De jong left for Barry .

For me this isn't about Yaya could do the job of Barry (better or worse), is a harder worker, better passer etc etc, its about they both do different jobs and bring different skill sets to achieving their role and how that fits into the team as a whole. Barry in my opinion certainly has a place in the squad and in the main, the first team itself for at least another season. Yaya could not do the job Barry does as well as Gareth Barry currently does it ... imo

This is about Gareth Barry & the job he does, not how many miles each player runs in a season or whether one player is a better footballer than another.
