can't imagine it's true as i thought for sure he was going to monaco just last week, but i expect us to be linked with every half decent available striker for the next three months. would be thrilled if he ended up here mind you.

But a sports journalist is a total piece of piss..you get it right, very infrequently...or else you get it wrong by a million miles, but then no one minds, or gives a damn..you don't even need to write well or be articulate!

I think all the noises suggest we will be doing our business early this year which is good.

Now, if we could just add Fabregas to the squad, I think we would be done for next season - although the sale of Dzeko and Tevez may still mean Cavani coming in, which would really be jizz time

The only current news article I can find in Spanish is Terra Columbia, which says:

".....according to mirror.co.uk"

So the Mirror beats the world eh?

Is Fabregas a possibility?

I'd take him over any striker if I had the choice. We have 3 good strikers, an attack minded, prem proven midfielder tho, yes please!

If it is true, I can imagine Tevez will go which will release the funds for wages and Dzeko will probably stay.

Otherwise we will have two strikers which isn't enough and two similarish players with their power, pace and size.

If Dzeko does go, we will need another striker, and one that can hold the ball up. We have been linked with the lad from Villa, but I think Dzeko will asked to that job from a manager that will encourage him and guide him.

Anyone saw the equaliser from Real Madrid - Atletico?

Costa scored, but anyone saw what Falcao did? Incredible, just incredible.

I would keep Tevez too. With Tevez, Sergio and Falcao up front, we could be stellar.

Reminded me of Silva's goal where he beat three defenders, somehow came away with the ball and then threaded the pass through for Aguero...I think.

I think it was Wigan, 3-0. Aguero scored the last goal. It was right after the 5-1 in WHL.
