The Final Weekend - Other Games

Although there's not much to play for there's still 2 games of significance, Newcastle v Arsenal and Spurs v Sunderland. There could also be movement with the Chelsea v Everton game but not so important unless there is a 16 goal shift.

That should mean that they all finish at exactly the same time. Oh ...... wait, we mustn't have got the message last season ;-)

Did I hear right that Pardew has said his team haven't got anything to play for?

Seems Bale's reputation preceeds him.

1626: Shane McMenemy: Really harsh on Gareth Bale. That's a foul and his reputation has gone against him there.

Hahahoho: So Bale is given a yellow when the defender should have been given a red?

Jack Banks: In what world is that not a penalty??? And then to be booked too? Bale's just too fast for these referees.

Correct but it looks like Spurs will be denied. The ref is making sure of that.

I'd have preferred them to get 4th, personally, just to see the how the Arse deal with it. Looks like the Arse have another 4th place trophy on the shelf.

Congrats to West Brom

So, goodbye Wigan, Reading and QPR, hello to Cardiff, Hull and 1 other from Watford or Palace. Can see United getting a few points from 2 of those next season, even without Taggart on the bench. I'm sure he'll be [strike]grooming[/strike] schooling them as we speak.

Yep me too. To be honest the constant gloating from Arsenal fans towards Spurs is really irritating me now, and I've never even particularly liked them. I'd like to see it change next season.

Don't think it will though, can see Spurs selling Bale and struggling more next year. I just hope he doesn't go to Utd, though I think he probably will..

If he does go to the Rags you can be sure they're going to unload a shit load of players, including Shrek.

Anyone watching the sky game of the day coverage? It's fucking brilliant listening to the commentators crawl further and further up bacon's arse knowing the result.

Be interesting to hear how their tone changes as the goals start to go in.....

Even though Everton are a bunch of weird cunts that despise us for no reason atall.

I glad they finished above Liverpool.

Scholes ending his career the same way he's been all the way through..... how the guy ever completed 90 mins without a red is beyond me.

At least we won't have to hear 'typical Scholes tackle' ever again!

Just watching Mallorca v Betis game and it's pretty funny as the commentators are moaning like normal fans about the players constantly rolling on the floor. "oh did you see that! He must have felt a butterfly touch his leg with the way he went down... and now he'll be replaced, not a surprise after the massive hit he just took there, absolutely no chance of playing on, you can tell that from the pace he's leaving the pitch."

huge win for Mallorca tho, keeps their chances alive in the battle against relegation.
