I like his hair.

On a side note after watch those highlights, I'd smash Pepe's face in no questions if I played against him. Even if he didn't do anything wrong, which is unlikely because he gives it the hard man act every match.

Having watched the highlights we'd need to leave Falcao up front or on the post as he was easily out jumped for the fake-Ronaldo's opening goal ;)

Falcao is fucking tremendous in the air though & if he did sign for us, I recon he'd score more headers than Dzeko & Balotelli put together.

Costa scored, but anyone saw what Falcao did? Incredible, just incredible.

I would keep Tevez too. With Tevez, Sergio and Falcao up front, we could be stellar.

I saw it, he showed good strength, skill and a great eye for a pass.

The only problem having all three is that they are all too alike in terms of size and strength.

There were rumbling about the rags being in for him and that barca may be prepared to do a deal

All speculation but would be a stunning deal for any British club. I don't know the ins and outs of Spanish football, but he appears to have had a far bigger impact in the English game

I would love to sign this guy but £54m is ALOT of money. we would for sure have to sell Tevez (especially since his contract expires in a year).

the only reason to buy this guy is if we add a winger or two.

Why to selling Tevez or the winger comment?

Re Selling Tevez: I dont see how we can bring in Isco, Falcao, and maybe Navas or someone else and not sell anyone.
RSC, Kolo, and I think Bridge are leaving because of their contract ending so thats no $$ gained for us except in wages.
Sinclair and Kolarov wont bring in much $ to replace £54m. Tevez is our best asset that supposedly we'd be willing to let go, due to his contract situation. Tevez will always be in high demand and he's been in form recently.

Re Wingers: Because El Tigre is a beast with his head and we have hardly any headed goals scored since we dont really get crosses in since thats not how Mancini wanted to play.

That's just how I see it.

We sold Balotelli in Jan and didn't buy so we may be in credit.

Any player that is part of a 3rd party ownership structure is going to cost huge sums of money to come to the premier league, since we have outlawed it and would have to purchase him outright. Not that Falcao wouldn't be costly going anywhere, but any prem team will be paying a premium to buy out the other owners.

Falcao is a top striker, but is he worth that much money? I can only imagine that it means Cavani would cost as much if not more, and he may be owned by a 3rd party as well, having come from Uruguay. Cavani may also suffer from being seen very much as a mancini target, at least as far as our 2 spaniards are concerned.

For the record, I think Falcao is a huge talent and would improve us, even if Tevez does not leave. But we do need to weigh the benefit vs. the cost.

Falcao is a good header yes, but if you think we need wingers because that's his true strength, then you should watch him play more. I don't think it matters where he gets the ball, how he gets the ball, he is the complete striker. Sit him alongside Aguero and play it through the middle, sit him alongside Dzeko and rain balls in, he'll score either way.

Atletico will sell Falcao this window..... I read some rumblings a few days ago about Monaco being very confident that they were about to sign him. Who knows though..

Now, if we could just add Fabregas to the squad, I think we would be done for next season - although the sale of Dzeko and Tevez may still mean Cavani coming in, which would really be jizz time

Not a possibility.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
