Holier - holistic. It's a wordplay, although admittedly a shit one. Do you get it now?

Erm, no, I should probably go back to sleep. As you were.

Not the greatest pun in the universe I'll grant you but I don't see many round here that could do similar in Finnish.

That pidgin English is indecipherable but I suppose it's in reference to this?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... -fans.html

That page from GdS makes it look like City fans want to buy a page of GdS. Or maybe both parties are buying a page of two different papers?

Cheers. Hopefully they will then move on and stop their wallowing. There comes a time when singing Mancini's name and doing this kind of thing stop being gestures of fondness and gratitude and start to become criticism of the club. The same club who paid Mancini's salary and financed the past three-plus years.

Have to agree, nice touch yesterday singing his name etc but that should be it now, draw a line in the sand. Say thanks but then move on - got to allow the new man to do his job when he comes in and not have a ghost haunting him.

I really did not like how we did it and was gutted but the worst thing to happen next season would be for the muppet brigade to start singing Mancini when we loose a game or play badly.

That's what I'm dreading. Collective amnesia it would be too, after this miserable season. But muppets are always the loudest in any gathering...

The season wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't miserable. Enjoy life as if comes because all of a sudden you'll blink and be 90 fucking years old wheezing and coughing on the 10 foot walk across your flat to take a shit.

The so called "greener pasture" or upcoming golden years of unlimited trophies will also be littered with plastic fans, more expensive tickets, and the club trying to push the match day experience upmarket. While the owners are one of the greatest things to happen to Man City, I'm convinced that they see football as away for the upper class to experience and connect with the lower classes in a comfortable and luxurious environment. Go to your box seat through a separate entrance, have some champagne on ice, a fancy piece of lamb, watch some football, and hear those crazy commoners get so passionate about someone kicking a leather ball around.

Preserving the current supporter environment is a key component to the millionaire, jet-set football experience. But realize that there will be sacrifices and the utopian future of Man City that you envision will never become reality. So moan if you really want to, but know that you will most likely be moaning about something or another for the rest of your life.

Re the above-

Losing our two year unbeaten home record to the Rags, not defending OUR title and losing to a relegated team in a major final is fucking miserable to me.

If someone with an idea outside the normal scope of discussion makes you immediately think that they must be on drugs, you need to:

I wonder if Mancini will go to Napoli to get Cavani...but probably not since Cavani's future looks uncertain....or whether he will go to AC Milan and be reunited with Balo..
