are our players spoilt w@nk3rs

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

are our players spoilt w@nk3rs

Postby dick dastardley » Mon May 20, 2013 7:21 pm

just had a chat with a person in the stadium that before the players came out in appreciation (i use this term very loosely) to the fans that have given their all throughout the season. that none of the players wanted to carry the banner yesterday and an argument ensued as to who was going to do it.
if this is true my estimation on our players have dropped enormously.

I'd need the specifics of the discussion before I could judge them - if it was me, I think I would prefer to wave, clap and have a bit of freedom to interact with the crowd and get my kids round with me rather than having to hold a banner the whole way round.

This is true. I guess I answered the question 'does this prove that our players are spoilt w@nk3ers?' with 'inconclusive'

I don't think our players are spoilt wankers and I wouldn't get too excited or tearful over rumours from unspecified sources if I were you.

I'd guess that our players don't think that us fans are spoilt wankers either despite the fact that so many fans simply walked out before and at the final whistle (not giving a shit about the lap of thanks).
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

The 'lap of thanks' (a bunch of geezers strolling round looking pissed off and occasinally clapping) should have happened immediately after the final whistle, even whilst Norwich were still out there, not made us wait for 15 mins while they powder their arses & put their fucking makeup on, they didn't do enough to work up a sweat so it wouldn't have been a problem.

There are a lot of rumours now and people seem to be swallowing them. Fair enough I suppose but I don't see the point.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I've always detested and avoided anything that involved "celebrities" preening themselves. TBH, I thought I was on a safe bet with City, but now look what's happened.

My estimation of most our team dropped a serious amount about halfway through the season when they gave up on the league.

Then it hit the floor with that performance in the final. No matter what they thought of Mancini or whatever bullshit reason they have for it. They did not give half a shit about that game. Didn't give half a shit about the fans and the £115 some people had spent on tickets, not to mention the travel costs and the hours on end we spent travelling.

Then Mancini is sacked and they half arse their last 2 games including that shit on Sunday.

Aguero has been shit all season, the missus thing gives him half an excuse.
Yaya has been diabolical.
Kompany has been shit.
Silva has been a ghost.
Hart has been a cocky arrogant knob.
Dzeko has spent far too much time sulking.
Clichy has been shit.

That is half our starting 11. Everyone of them hasn't give a shit all season because they are a bunch of horrible, selfish, lazy, spoilt wankers.

I haven't renewed our season card's yet because I am not sure if I like where our club is going and I don't think it is something to be proud of anymore. I will probably just renew it in the end but this is the first time I have ever had to give it a second thought and that second thought involves our team and the disgusting attitudes they have shown this season.

Maybe the reason for all this has left the building? Maybe we all need a summer off and we can start over in August..... Sadly not against the scum in the community shield :-(

So they didn't like the manager. They throw away a season because of it?. It only makes them look worse when I think about it like that.

I was more thinking that we need a different style of manager. One that can manage the massive egos, because sadly, with a group of top players, that's what it's all about. Like I said, a few weeks off and hopefully we all feel better!

Hoping the powers at be aren't having any time off mind you.....

That's a very good post. I renewed immediately but with a heavy heart. The thing that is worrying me is what if the players don't like Pellegrini? Do they down tools next season as well? At least when the Chelsea players get rid of a manager they go on a win trophies. Worrying time at the club as far as I'm concerned.
