Not a possibility.

Why's that then?

A) He has been in double figures with both goals and assists in both seasons
B) Guy is born and bred Barcelona supporter and local kid
C) He slagged us off back in the day
D) Doubt he'd go anywhere but Arsenal if he left
E) He has month old baby, see B

I love Fabregas as a player (who doesn't) and he is EXACTLY what this team lacks. EXACTLY. However this is a non-starter.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not that Falcao wouldn't be costly going anywhere, but any prem team will be paying a premium to buy out the other owners.

Falcao is a top striker, but is he worth that much money? I can only imagine that it means Cavani would cost as much if not more, and he may be owned by a 3rd party as well, having come from Uruguay. Cavani may also suffer from being seen very much as a mancini target, at least as far as our 2 spaniards are concerned.

For the record, I think Falcao is a huge talent and would improve us, even if Tevez does not leave. But we do need to weigh the benefit vs. the cost.

How would Cavani cost more?

Falcao is better.

Cavani has a 63 million euro buy out clause
How much is the other lad?

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

Well napoli's chairman has said he wants edin as part of the deal so we won't have to touch that buy out clause.

I reckon we could get both spending 50-60

to be fair....Ronaldo is 3-4 inches taller than Falcao

Falcao is fucking tremendous in the air though & if he did sign for us, I recon he'd score more headers than Dzeko & Balotelli put together.

Ted he is good in a country where he outs teams who dont have defenders like most Prem teams heading is a culture here and seen as not in the job decription in Spain. He is very clever though across defenders he is the best and as a number 9 the best, are we gonna be slinging balls in from all areas, A Madrid have some outstanding players who play majestic passes into him and the Costa fella who laso looks like another top player thrive of this. Top side AM.

Both. How greedy! One is more than enough!

Tbh If we shifted Edin in the Cavani deal it would be sound business for both parties, He'd score for fun in Serie A and we'd get a striker who can do a tad more than just score ;D.

That's quite a revelation Wooders and a brave man you are for (pardon the pun) 'coming clean' on the matter, which I presume was a bit of anticipatory wrist action brought about by the near signing?

Anyhow, enough on that subject and needless to say that we all appreciate how excited you are at the thought of Falcao in a City shirt.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Since the end of the 11-12 season there's not much of a net spend really. Probably just the cash adjustment on the Nasty deal.
