They are not short on talent though and with him in I would expect them to strengthen. They don't seem to give 2 shits about FFP.

I will be interested to see what happens to Torres. When is his contract up?.

Why?
Will he just come in and have it handed to him?

You should never go back.

Because United won't be anywhere near as good as they were under Fergie with that Team and with Moyes at the helm.

Because we sacked our Manager and will bring someone in who has no experience in the Premier League. On top of that it looks like there will quite a big influx of players going in and out so I would expect next season to be more about settling in the new manager and players.

Arsenal and Spurs will not compete for the title either because Arsenal never spend and Spurs will most likely lose Bale and slump back to 6th place.

Chelsea already have an amazing team and I bet they will splash the cash again in the summer and bring in a big name striker. Now they will have a very capable manager who knows the League inside out. Like Mourinho or loathe him, he will make Chelsea clear favourites to win imho.

Didn't Chelsea win the league in 2004/05 with a new manager who had no experience in the Premier League?
Didn't we do a similar thing last year, or does the extra 5 months make all the difference?

Why people think Mourinho will walk back into the Prem at Chelsea and immediately win the league is beyond me. He'll be coming back to a squad that is inferior to that he left behind and with greater competition from the top 3. The idea that City and the Scum won't even be at the races is just daft.

Well to be fair, he has done it pretty much everywhere he has been, and Chelsea do have a wry good squad.

Drogba and Makelele aside, I don't think that are that much weaker than when he was there first time around - they are a different group of players, but fantastically mobile and great pace, and with lukaku next year who knows they might even have a new Drogba.

Not sure the squad suits the dogs of war style he may need to employ at outset, but a couple of additions in midfield and defence will soon sort that

If I was Mourinho I would definitely get Lukaku back for next season. Reckon he's gonna have a storming season

Aye, but he has a pretty good squad now and is set to finish a distant second. He was also way behind with Chelsea when he was sacked. The idea that he will will win the league isn't a foregone conclusion. Though, I will concede that he has probably the best record of any of the managers out there.

Mancini had 18 months experience of the Premier League at the start of last season.

If you want a manager to come in an make an instant impact in terms of winning things, Mourinho's your man. Whether he can build something and whether Chelsea is bothered about that is a different matter, but I reckon they'll be no lower than a close second with him in charge.

If Taggart was still in charge and Mancini or a new City manager with at least a season behind them, I think it'd be a close run thing, but Chelsea will definitely have the best short term manager of the three. Give it two years and who knows, but all three could be on the move again by then.

Wish we get on and name Pellegrini. Until he signs there is the potential for him to go elsewhere and make us look bloody stupid.

You're right there mate, just doesn't sound right for him to be coming here after the statement on the official site when Mancini was sacked (and I'm a big Mourinho fan by the way).

Almost to the opposite I rather have Ratboy at City ahead of the Clown: no matter of how good at players screwdriving for instant success he may be. He is a disgrace to everything I love in sport.

But You are bang on the money, Mate: the very last thing that Special Egomaniac thinks of himself and his career is to become a holistic nurse.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!
