Kompany is a great character ,surely also a motivator. I am sure we can find a Central defender if he does go to Barca. which would help him careerwise. Because if he has another season like this last one at City , he most certainly would have to be dropped

I'm sure Nasti can handle Joleon , or Micah for that matter already. He was often seen delegating, particulary as the season wore on .

I think Nasti will also grow from the clear disappointment he had from not winning something, particularly the cup final .

I believe that at the same time the Chairman choose to back the upper floor boyz - as it always goes in every big company showdown - he also told 'em it'll be now time for a holistic deliver.

The Team will be strengthened as never before, otherwise several necks will be in serious danger.
I can't see that starting by letting our skipper and the most promising defender go: won't deffo be holistic enough.

We all know Kompany isn't shite (and most of us can sensibly say the same of Lescott!), he was voted Premiership player of the season when we won it. And bloody obviously, of course no player is bigger than the club - anyone can be replaced - what bothers me is losing our best players END OF! Yeah we can replace them, not necessarily with better ones though. We couldn't even replace the lesser players we lost with better ones last season.

Nothing to do with being soft or crying. To do with constantly improving - not treading water - not losing our best players - not going backwards - but constantly going forward. At the moment our momentum is......well, not momentum.

Nothing has been said by the club regarding suspensions, dressing room punch ups or him leaving. This is for the simple reason that one little snippet of information is twisted by the media to suit there own agenda. It is not hatred of us, they would have been the same to villa or norwich if they were subject to a massive takeover. Back to Kompany, until anything concrete is confirmed then we should presume he will be back next year and hopefully lifting another trophy.

Not out to convince anyone. There just seems a bit of mass hysteria as to whats going on. Yes not knowing 100% for sure who's taking managers position isnt helping but so far today on here we are left with a squad of just Zab and Clichy.
