Johnny Evans Punched A West Brom Player

Postby Beefymcfc » Wed May 22, 2013 5:24 pm

One of the lads said this afternoon that Johnny Evans got away with a deliberate punch on one of the Brom players in Taggarts last game. Anybody know anything about this as I've not seen it reported anywhere?

Bloody hell, cheers pal. I've not seen anything on this from anywhere. I know I've been away for a couple of days but shit like that would be over the front cover of every media outlet if that was one of ours. Have the FA called for it to be seen?

Defender Jonny Evans has escaped punishment by the FA over an off-the-ball incident involving West Bromwich striker Markus Rosenberg.
The incident occurred during Sir Alex Ferguson’s final game in charge of Manchester United on Sunday.
The match finished 5-5 after West Brom struck three times in the final 10 minutes, twice through Romelu Lukaku and once through Youssouf Mulumbu, to secure an impressive point having trailed 5-2

If anyone at all is concerned about this 'media accepted' violence then they should complain to the police. If done then the police (who are equally ignoring the incident) will be obliged to investigate and, if substantiated, prosecute.
It doesn't require the victim to press charges when the matter is a public event as there are witnesses aplenty and video footage.

If it upsets you then go for it. Pick up the phone and call your local station.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

That's it, I'm grassing!

Quite amazing that this seems to have been struck from the record books, or not even penned to be truthful. Had a scan round BBC Football but can't see it mentioned anywhere.

It's not grassing - it's reporting an act of public violence that has upset you - you don't have to have seen it 'live' it just has to have upset you.

PS. You can grass on your own kind but you can't 'grass' on a turd.

In this case, it was a turd on the grass. Not my thing though, I'll leave it to the powers that be to act upon it.

Fact is that the 'powers that be' (BBC / ITV / police etc.) are too in awe of the rags to act - pretty much like they ignored saville and the other kiddy fiddlers.
