Gundogan.

Thanks - I will not hold you responsible if I do my crust - promise

His target is 42

42? passes completed? what if he goes over?

against Real he was unbelievable in terms of his passes completed.

Thanks - he got 25 points for scoring the penalty and made up 57 so I won 15 times my stake

Yeah I think the better team won in the end. It was marginal though and Dortmund worked their socks off. Dortmund's close control is fantastic and you wonder what would've happened if Gotze had played as they really lacked behind the striker.

The pressing in midfield was great from both sides. Would like to see that a little closer to home next season.

Pretty gutted for Dortmund, entertaining final at least.

Also not to be "that guy" but this was awkward...

My goodness, what an awful game.

Don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't what was served up :- two big, strong, fast, athletic teams playing hoof it long, kick and rush football at break-neck speed.

There weren't many David Silva style moments of silky skill and the whole shambles reminded me of Stoke playing themselves, with so many unforced errors. All in all, I would imagine the ball had to be stretchered off at the end.

It started out as amusing rubbish but just got tiresome by the time that the end of the game came around and if these are the best two teams in Europe, then I'm Michel Platini's grandfather.

On a better note, the Wembley pitch looked terrific and a perfect surface for football; it's just a pity that these two sets of cloggers didn't produce any.

It reminded me of Stoke v Spurs to be honest.

It was something which, to my eyes, was more Championship quality than Champions League.

If this German standard of football is the new benchmark that we've all got to aspire to, then heaven help the beautiful game.

Mate, most of the "unforced errors" we're down to both teams pressing very aggressively high up the pitch. I thought it was quite impressive to watch. I wish we could defend with such intensity on the opponent's on half.

Really don't know where to start. These teams demolished all that stood before them then provided 90 blistering minutes of football.

The fact you've said they didn't bring "any David Siva moments" like Silva himself has done fuck all this season leaves me baffled.

Sorry to leave you baffled but, to my mind, the game was just crying out for someone to put their foot on the ball and use a more thoughtful and measured approach, instead of just (IMHO) aimlessly banging it forward, invariably losing possession.

In a different post, Mr Nool said some of the mistakes were brought about by the pressing game both teams were playing, which is a fair point, but neither side seemed to be even TRYING to get a hold of the ball and use it creatively.

Next season, if either of these two sides are drawn against Barcelona and, in the meantime, the Catalan outfit address some of the cracks starting to appear in their side, as well as having a fully fit Lionel Messi, I'm sure that results and performances will be markedly different from those of this season.

Thanks - he got 25 points for scoring the penalty and made up 57 so I won 15 times my stake
he completed 57 passes? so what was the bet? how much did you win?
On that type of bet you get points for a number of things:

2 for pass completed in oppo half
3 for being fouled
3 if you force a corner and
25 if you score a goal

You also lose them for things like fouling and being booked etc so the actual end result could be negative.

In the end you take his total deduct his starting target and you get that resulting figure X your stake:

So 57 - 42 = 15 X £15 - £225

In fact I was lucky that he took the penalty otherwise that would have been 25 less so it would have been:

32 - 42 = -10 X £15 = -£150

One of the best Champions League finals for me! But our Italian ref Rizzoli made a bad mistake not sending off Dante on the BVB penalty action! It was a crucial episode for me, Bayern wouldn't attack so much in the later minutes without a man!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

It was a fast paced game wasn't it? The tempo was what stood out for me. And Boateng's crapness. How do Bayern get by with him playing?

Nerves all over control and much fear in it, as pretty often it's hard to have a CL final not affected by the pressure of what at stake.

I enjoyed some good football nonetheless, though.

I also had confirmation of that Italian referees are the world's most "political correrct" of all. and that I really hate Bayern Munchen so deeply.

Shame that a pair of usually good CBs like Hummels and Subotic had a mare of a game, particularly when positional sense is regarded.
Bayern did nothing but enjoy the easy path too often paved towards the Dortmund goal.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!
