Official to Scouse 1.

A bit worried about how Yaya will take this. Please God, i hope we won't sign Pepe.

That"s all.

And they just confirmed on Scouse channel, or something like that.

Liverpool Football Club can today announce they have agreed a deal with Kolo Toure to join the club on July 1

YaYa will be ok IMO, he knew like the rest of us it was coming and he's only going to be up the road. If anything he will pleased his brother will be playing regularly again.

Maybe Yaya will have to be a grown fuckin man and not have his brother hold his hand. FFS what's wrong with some of you. This is a thirty-odd year old. Just cause he can't drive to training with his brother it shouldn't change a thing!

To be honest this is the best possible thing that could happen with regards to Kolo to be honest. He's moved just round the corner. Yaya can't complain and he'll still see him all the time. It won't affect his social/family life so its fine.

I would have liked him to stay for one more year, though I am sure that Yaya & Kolo can both find accomodation around the Warrington area and be easily close enough for both clubs.

Where did they live when one was in Barcelona and one was in London?

Right for us to let him go I think.

We can still sing the Yaya Kolo chant, it's superb!

As for people worried about Yaya?! Really, everyone knew that Kolo was out of contract and almost certainly not being offered another one. Also he has moved to Liverpool to be a squad player for them and as indicated already, probably won't even need to move house.

Good luck to Kolo.

On the one hand it's a nice feeling to know that liverpool are now reduced to signing our cast-offs. On the other hand, I thought we should have kept hold of him as he played well when he came in last season. C'est la vie....

Hope we don't regret this he was high quality cover when we needed him
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)
