Other than the Euro bumming, haven't Trap's results been pretty good? If so, why is he under constant pressure?

His football can be mind numbing. He does well with the players he has but that's his biggest criticism over here

Even so, they should beat this Irish team despite their team spirit and organisation.

That's the issue. I think of the England I know and its a rich creative and thoughtful mix of interesting and challenging perspectives in art, music, architecture, politics and dare I say it even cuisine.

And yet the England setup reflects nothing of modern England. Like a snow globe trapped in 66. The US will win a world cup before england do again.

Lampard lucky to get the ball for the goal but as they say, you've gotta be in it to win it.

Cahill and Jagielka though? Not impressed.

England look decent at best for now , Ireland is on same level.

i reckon we should go in for Oxlaide-Chaimberlain in the summer. Simply for the shirt printing money! FFP and all that! We need to get rid of players like Silva and Hart with their shite names.

And why is it that when a long-ball actually works it automatically becomes a 'lofted-pass'?

Too true. He is just running around aimlessly, and when he does get the ball, he thinks he's some kind of midfield maestro!

It doesn't bode well when we can't play well against Ireland and we have Brazil on Sunday.

All the shit Neymar has had this week might come back to hurt us.

How many of those players out there are really England first choice?
