hopefully not many.....

You can never can tell, doesn't matter which muppet is in charge they always pick a bunch of jokers - and if you don't play for a sky4 (or spurs) team you're got about 5% chance of getting picked

Would Micah play ahead of Johnson if he went to the dippers? I think he would. For me, him moving on is the only thing that's going to have a big impact on his England career. Although the way we play, I don't know why he'd want one.

I think Micah's toast where the England set-up is concerned, at least for the time being anyway.

The FA is all about bringing in the coin nowadays and they go where the money is. Having the biggest supported teams players ensures good viewing figures and far more potential for sales and sponsorship. Nothing to do with the players themselves.

Can't see a single player on that pitch that I'd want in a City shirt

Not even Hart?

Edit: Just realised. Must've nodded off for a second there.

A reasonably entertaining game, lacking in skill an craft though.

Next time someone bangs on about foreigners playing in the Prem, ask them if they'd want to watch this week in week out.

I think Walcott is starting to realise his potential, but should be played centrally

To be honest, we've been much worse, and we still watched them

Are those fans with the instruments and singing silly songs with no lyrics still in the stadium from the cl final ? or I wonder , does the FA actually pay this lot? what's with the idiot playing drums all the time ?

Ps , the commentary stinks

Really crap match from an England perspective. No control ,seemingly no plan and mostly average performances across the board.Obviously a few moments where we could have scored but that's bound to happen against an average side like Ireland. MotM would surely be Jones as he is the best player in the world bar none closely followed by Carrick who is the world's best midfield player who creates so many chances with his incisive passing and is always likely to nick a goal. Or maybe NOT.

Just a load of rubbish all round and I really do hope Brazil put us in our place. Please don't let us win one nil with a backs to the wall effort.

First England game ever that after we went 1 nil down I turned it off and went for a nap.
Hodgson is a fuckign drone, absolute shite house of a manager and we will win fuckall with him at the helm, another FA fuckup.
I hope Brasil batter us out of sight as Im done with watching England.

It still amazes me that no matter what has happened in the past, a significant proportion of the English population still believe England are a great side and destined for glory, only to have that illusion shattered during a match.

We've been an average side for the majority of our history - that's the reality - and so I don't expect any more from the team when they play. But because we invented the game, English people still think we have some divine right to be successful, when the fact is that many over countries are better than us, although admittedly the hysteria is nowhere near as bad on here as it is in the general media/public.

I gave up on the England side a long time ago, and see international qualifiers and friendlies as a taking up time when we could be watching club football. Games after the season ends are just a waste of time for everybody.

From what i saw u will be really lucky if u finish on first place ,Monte Negro ,Ukraine ,and Poland are all better then Ireland at the momenten England only won San Marino and one more shit team and when manager say that Roney should be careful or he will not go to Brasil i really do not know where he get hes confidence maybe with that in preformance in friendly with Brasil.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Foster should do us all a favour and withdraw from national selection again.
