Certainly I couldn't bring myself to work for the rags!

You could work within to bring them down - Nick Leeson style - albeit intentionally.

If i was an empolyee of MCFC and a City fan i'd be delighted to have a free/half price seasoncard.
If i was an empolyee of MCFC and a Rag i wouldnt want a seasoncard free/half price i'd rather just have a different benefit.

Thank you for saying what I couldn't formulate.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Surely the question is if you are a rag, why do you work for City? Certainly I couldn't bring myself to work for the rags!

Ok lets look at it from a different angle, you are a mad city fan, not missed a game in years and want to work in hospitality... You are offered a job at the Etihad but it means working match days and missing the game. Another club offer you a similar job perhaps even in a stadium that has a mecano set holding up the roof, with this one you would be available for almost all city games as the police don't allow both teams to play on the same day at home. You would get experience in your chosen field and get to meet high profile sports fans. Which would you choose assuming salary for both is the same???

I wouldn't work for the rags. End of story.

I was offered a job by Vodafone once, a very good job it was too but I just couldn't get past my prejudice of them. I'm now active in moving the whole insurance contract at my university away from AON.

This hits home hard with me as I give out bonuses and other perks now and again and the when I dont the cunts want to go on strike .....Its a fuckign bonus , its a company perk thats based on Managers discretion you cretins !!

I fuckign guarantee that these free tickets are not based on anyones contracts but rather a "perk" that the hierarchy can give or take away and to think that we are the only club that does this!!

Fucking sack the whinging cunts I would, especially the staff room lawyers to start with.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Exactly.

Personally I've never understood why we even gave two ST's for free.
and it's still a good deal for the employees and very good deal for those employees who also are City fans

lol -I have worked in countries where the labour law is so employee friendly its mind boggling !!,a true nightmare for the employer.
Here in the DR its as bad as any I have experienced and you need to be very smart and not let your ego make a decision that you will most definately regret down the line.(I learned the hard way!)
I now bite my fuckign lip and go to my office to let it out, the coffee machine gets a smack and the bin gets booted from one end of my office to the other then I normally go on this site looking for some cunt that deserves a mouthful :)

Employee relations laws are cool here, a bloke was given a final written warning for "walking effeminately" or mincing just before I arrived. I've been head to head with the President who doesn't understand why we have high attrition, that his approach might not be the way forwards, but he was having none of it.

So i'm currently the puppet of a brutal regime. And whilst its all very unfair, it's laughably funny sometimes having HR policy dictated by a sexist, racist bigot.

I cannot see it written in their contracts that they get 2 sc. I would assume it's more of an unwritten thing.

And i'm with sis no City fan would mention empty seats.

All MCFC employees should be vetted imo. Employing rag sympathisers is like letting the Taliban have access to every british residents address or bank account details

I find it disturbing that the clubs taking away free carers tickets , their basically hitting the lowest earners with a tax on watching city , if someone has a carer their literally unable to attend the match alone so were talking severe disabilities here .It seems a weird stance to take when the clubs trying to sell itself so hard as part of the community . Especially considering the very small percentage of City fans that qualify to attend with a carer . I find it really hard to criticise the club , but on this one there out of order .
As for the workers I don't really see the problem especially if as posted they get alternative compensation . It does indeed sound like a rag stirring up shit .

That has not happened. Disabled fans still get a free carer. The muen was wrong. Funny that.

Thing is with the Vodafone situation, at the time I was working for 02, and we had all sorts of things going on with the teams we sponsored.

I won a competition to train with the England rugby team for a day just before they won the World Cup for example, we had loads of arsenal promos going on, and I was fine with all that

But had I gone to Vodafone, I couldn't have got involved in those optional activities taking away a big part of the benefits of working for them, more so there would have been some activities my job would have made me get involved in and support which involved promotion of the evil empire

I just couldn't do that when it came down to it.

Personal choice at the end of the day, same as my own personal choice has never been to buy Nike products, no united based reason, I just don't like any of their product designs them on the whole, and I don't buy football shirts anyway - so boycotting Nike will be no problem for this kiddy

Do I think it will bother Nike in the slightest? Nah
