Can't see spurs turning that down if true. Would that be a world record?

JamieMCFC wrote:Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane has urged his international colleague Richard Dunne to join him in the MLS.
LA Galaxy striker Keane, who is relishing his spell on America’s west coast, believes his long-standing friend and team-mate can enjoy a similar finish flourish to his career in the MLS.
Injury plagued defender Dunne will leave Aston Villa this summer after failing to kick a ball since last summer’s Euro 2012 finals, but the 33-year-old Dubliner is not prepared to hang up his boots despite hip and groin problems placing his future in serious doubt.
Dunne is set to make his comeback in the Republic of Ireland’s international against Georgia on Sunday and he has admitted the idea of a move to America is a possibility as he looks to reignite his career.
"Robbie has been on at me about me looking at moving to America for a while and it is something to look at, but I think everything hangs on playing a few times for Ireland over the next ten days," Dunne told Ireland’s Sunday World newspaper.
"I’ve got to get match-fit and show any possible employer than I can be an asset for them for next season."
Dunne admits he would preferred to play a behind-closed-doors game to mark his comeback rather than a high-profile international, but his relief at finally getting back into action ensures he will give his all in front of the Dublin crowd.
"This is the match that is available and it’s brilliant that the Ireland manager has given me the opportunity to have a game," he added.
"The boss thinks I can play in the qualifiers next season. That’s why to have the opportunity to be around the squad again last week was great."

Judging by signing Gomez, Cavani must have struck a deal with some of the club. I believe that he signed for City. Atletico Madrid for a replacement for Falcao and mentioned Edin few times,

If this is true, it provides all us fans with a lot of confidence that the two newbies upstairs are starting to excel. Cavani to City is a headline I await with great excitement.
Elfin to Athletico Madrid is a non starter. He doesn't fit their mould (Torres, Aguero, Falcao), but Suarez is a player that definitely would fit in at AM.

Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro is set to leave the club and has been linked with a surprise return to Manchester City this summer.
The Chile international spent six months on loan at the Etihad Stadium during the second half of the 2011/12 season, making seven appearances in all competitions.
He left parent club Roma the following summer, signing a two-year deal with fellow Serie A side Fiorentina.
The 33-year-old has been a regular for La Viola this season, making 29 appearances, but appears set to quit the club in the summer.
Pizarro's agent Alejandro Santiesteban told Radio Bio Bio: "David's idea is to leave Fiorentina, he is looking for a new challenge and I'm working on this.
"He seeks a top European club, a 'five stars' club, but there are not yet any negotiations. We will stay calm as there is plenty of time until August 31."
Pizarro's uncle Aurelio Cortez has hinted the midfielder may seek a return to Manchester City, who are set to be managed by his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini.
"Once David signed autographs with the number eight but now he has changed to ten as that is his number for Chile and his next club, I think Pellegrini's Manchester City or AS Roma," Cortez told El Mercurio.

Leave the City forum to City fans you pompous prick. Or at least football fans. You haven't a fucking breeze about the game and you seem to spend your time on here telling us the only reason anyone will come to the club is if we pay them much more than anyone else.
You are a tailor made rag. Just bite the bullet and switch sides. I'm sure they'd love your basketball comparisons over on their forum.

so let me get this straight.
i said: Fergie is (was) a good manager, United are a good club, and Van Persie never wanted to come here and we didnt stand a chance signing him with United in the running (truth) and that makes me a rag and not a City fan?
good to know. in your eyes City fan must = overly-biased. i see. its all clear.
oh wait, i forgot. i once explained what a pick-and-roll was in basketball (because someone asked, mind you) when referring to how someone picked a player (much like Muller did vs Barca in the CL semi-final). holy shit, my bad. christ on a bike, get over yourself.
