Piccs, you do realise that the 93 goals we yielded in the title winning year was the third highest goal tally in PL history, including in the 22 team format, hardly negative football mate.

Title winning season was alright - most of last season was fucking shite abd boring to watch - even the most ardent mancini defender couldnt argue that?

Won't argue that but I will argue that title winning season was just alright, we played some of the best football the PL has seen in the opening six months of that season.

I would happily say that the first half of the title winning season was wonderful to watch. Before and after has been pretty shit. Some of our displays away from home have been frankly embarressing.

I will and have happily said that the football in the first half of the title winning season was a joy to watch. Before and after was pretty shit.
It's part of the frustration, when you know what that group of players are capable of yet, we have so many negative non performances.

The Wigan performance was that Mancini's fault, Pics or were many others to blame. I only ask as a fucking refund should have been offered if tossing it off was the plan after Joe Hart spat his dummy out.

It constantly baffles me how people talk of the Wigan non performance as if it were a one off. There were plenty of similar half arsed efforts in the lead up to that game, including the home fixture against the same opposition three weeks earlier. It was not really atypical of Mancini's team's performances.

Coming after a great week of wins to our closest rivals including a great Semi win at Wembley, Wigan one was still a win, I am not arsed Mancini has gone, what does piss me off with you, is it is a despite him we won the League and the cup and spanked the rags, for me that is Rude and bollocks, just as the tantrums of Hart were.

I thought Piccs pretty clearly stated how he felt about Mancini, and it isn't a 'despite him we won the league' attitude.

Now if this was john you were talking about he'd call you an idiot and storm off.

I think we have enough tantrums for 1 season, on the Soriano finding his voice, I have watched his work at Barca for years and he is not all sugar and sweet.

What does that mean concretely? You mentioned you were a socio. What were your impression of mickey and mikey at barca?

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I have had a membership for 15yrs, attended the Champions League Final to watch them hammer the rags, My opinion of them is high, they saw a vision beyond Frank Rykyards winning, with soap stars Deco, Ronny the best selling shirt before Messi. Some decision that as his shirt sales were mind blowing, Great plan to bring in Pep and aslo a massive gamble, who IMHO will be in place with us in 2 or 3 yrs they have vision, If you read Marca from the 30/5 you will get a feel for the other face of Soriano, Other than Barca no real football pedigree if he needs one, over saw Spanair collapse. Lots on the web mate. On my membership we were shite in my defence and following England had lost its appeal. He will lead us past the rags if he lasts here and Pep will be the man to have us where say Bayern are now which must be a worry for Pep as Bayern have just IMHO blown his plan out of the water..Txki is the one for me who will glue it all together as he was a brillant player and sees the picture before you switch on the telly, for me he is the reason Bobby is gone.

The wins are just to be expected, don't you know, and we should never have a flat game ever! You hit the nail on the head totally Colin, calling the manager that delivered us silverware after decades of drought a coward was plain rude (and bollocks) and that is my issue with piccs.

Well we seem to have good times ahead of us then if your estimation of the A-hörnchen and B-hörnchen is right. I hope you are.

Liking the optimism and agree success will continue to come to the Etihad.

I hope the transfer window and pre-season goes well to build on this optimism and allow any new members to quickly gel with the existing team and for all to learn what the new boss is about.
