Yes he never hit the heights he promised but he still scored 14 league goals from the left wing and assisted a fair few more. He also did have some great games for us too.
This was when he was often playing in a forward line often including one of Vassel and Benjani or sometimes both.
His time at us will go down as disappointing but to me he wasn't the flop that some make him out to be.

It's great that we have less of these individual jokers like Robinho and Bellamy and more of a team now. Great platform for Pelle the Gaffer to step in.
Bull fucking shit. He shook his hand, smiled at bagpuss then scowled after turning away. I sat and watched it.
Where the fuck did this mysterious "high five" come from?

He was good. He was also a bit of a cock.
They should put that on his gravestone.

Had a great game at Everton too, a place where we rarely perform well.

And then went back to Goodison a year later and played like a dick.

Cold, wet Tuesday night.....
Only performs at home.....
Brazilians in England....
Now I loved Bellers, still do in fact. I also have no problem believing robinho had an attitude, but anybody remembering him not being awesome for us and lighting up our games has a very biased memory.

I remember giggling like an idiot when I saw him walk out for like six months. Couldn't believe City had him.
And Robinho may have been a lazy etc etc....but Bellamy is a prick, liked them both playing for City but without the blue tints, we know what they were.

Finally some sense prevails.
People should also remember he quite quickly went from being our only star, to fighting for a place with Ade, Tevez, Bellamy and with a broken leg healing to boot.
I think that mass influx of stars the following season has glossed over his contribution for most.
