Those stats would take a little longer, but here is one set of figures of their records at RM, I appreciate that moreen had longer, the figure that did stand out was the win percentage/rate:

José Mourinho Portugal 28 May 2010 June 2013 178 128 28 22 475 168 71.91

Aguero/Dzeko
Isco/silva. Nasri/tevez. Milner/navas
Toure/rodwell. Barry/"Garcia"
"Kolarov"/clichy Koms/nasty/lescott. Zabs/Rich
Hart/?
From this I see we need a fourth choice centre back. Rekik? A spare goalkeeper and maybe a replacement for kolarov and Garcia.
Overall if we went with this tactic and got these players I would be happy. And cavani could be a replacement for dzeko or a third striker for injuries like aguero again

Me too. Ill informed would be my view.
They had an embarrassing cup exit, but dont all teams every now and again.
If he delivered a 96 point haul here and we lost the league, it certainly wouldnt be for the want of trying, and he would go down as a legend.
It all boils down to the perception that he was sacked, when in fact the brass at madrid are on record saying he would never have been 'sacked' had mourinho not been available.

No, sorry mate winning fuck all that season doesn't come into it. Thats the sort of simplistic view some elements of the media are peddling, saying he will be automatically sacked next season if he wins nothing, which I dont believe to be true, just as it wasnt true at madrid.
As I said, the brass at madrid were on record that in any other situation (Maureen's availability) he would not have been removed as manager.

Just one question, where was he on your list of replacements?

No, sorry mate winning fuck all that season at Real doesn't come into it. Thats the sort of simplistic view some elements of the media are peddling for us now, saying he will be automatically sacked next season if he wins nothing, which I dont believe to be true, just as it wasnt true at madrid.
There is a real prospect that Jose could galvanise the talent chelsea have and have a great season, win the league with say 95 points. Would it really be a failure if he lost the league with 90+ points for example and qualified us out of the champions league group or better?
I'd agree it would be a cause for concern if he lost it by a wide margin of points and was dumped out of the champs league without a whimper.

His "failure" at RM "wasn't his fault", it was down to their structure:
"I didn't have a voice or a vote at Madrid. They sign the best players, but not the best players needed in a certain position. It’s no good having an orchestra with the 10 best guitarists if I don’t have a pianist. Real Madrid have the best guitarists, but if I ask them to play the piano they won’t be able to do it so well. He [Pérez] sold players that I considered important. We didn't win the Champions League because we didn't have a squad properly structured to be able to win it."[
So lets hope he has a voice and gets a vote here.
Although is that the model they're punting?

I think i said to you previously that he is someone who a friend tipped up a long while ago, and i've been interested in him since then as an option, an option that to be honest, I didnt think would feature on city's radar. Before that I knew nothing about him, and still to be honest don't profess to be an expert - however the point about the circumstances of his sacking from Real was something that stuck with me from when I first read up about him, perhaps back in January.
Back then my thoughts were that he would be a gamble, a view I still hold now because of his lack of premier league experience and to a lesser extent his age. But then again who wouldnt be out of those currently available.......so to specifically answer your question, I never had a list or gave it much thought, as I didn't think the mancini situation would escalate so quickly
Pellegrini was an interesting option for me, but someone with experience of our league, strong track record, maybe the likes of ancelotti would have personally been my preference.
