What's most important, last two games have been extremely exciting to watch.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Two games ago I said on here that I would give Leslie the next 5 games before joining the 'Hughes out' gang . . . I naturally take all the credit for the last 180+ minutes of football served up.

Exactly although the last 20 minutes when we went defensive (minus a couple of amazing tevez and 1 SWP run) were still scary to watch lol.

That's what is so frustrating, if we had put Fulham, Burnley, Hull and red scouse to bed like we should we would be 2 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
Also if we had got the point we deserved at the swamp as well, we would be second, a point behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
It seems we're only turning it on for the big games.

I have reservations with Hughes as to him being able to motivate the players against the likes of Burnley, Wigan etc.

Is it Le sor the players themselves. You could have the greatest motivator in the world but if you can`t be arsed...you carn`t be arsed that`s it.

I don't know if that's Hughes fault or is it the players that cannot get motivated against small teams. We had the same problem in Sven's days. It just does not make sense that we can beat the best team in the country but cannot beat the likes of Hull, Burnley and Birmingham. I hope that the 2 last matches were a turning point and that our players are now fired up having tasted victory again and that they will take that atitiude and spirit into the remainder of the season.

Well the seven draws are done, nothing we can do about them anymore, but we can make sure we are this fired up against Bolton, and all the other "minor" teams we are going to play from now on. These two wins will give the team a huge boost of confidence, especially tonight's one as it was against the side which has arguably been the best in the league so far, so winning against them has to lift our team's spirits a lot.

Funny stuff thou football ain't it. We raise our game against the 'bigger' teams, the so-called lesser teams raise their game against us and so the law of football continues

As funny as that is, it isn't my job to motivate board members.
