Sorry, no harm intended. Was a reference to the tiny village that you tried to lure me to. Clumsily written on my behalf.

Anyways, the game took place in Erst Happel Stadium, a stadium built in the twenties. After Anschluss and the incorporation of Austria into Germany as Ostmark, the stadium was used for the internation of thousasnds of jews, later deported to Buchenwald. Most of them died.

During the last moments of the game the audience started doing a chant where the clapped and sang "Sieg". And this was an international game, not a club one, so most of the people there were regular people (the football club-scene in this country is heavily infested by nazis and fascists). And they did a fucking mass exercise of clapping and singing Sieg at a place where a lot of bad stuff happened.

I fucking hate this country. The scum of the earth and Carl's employers live here. It is disgusting.

ps. Sieg without the Heil does not necessarily imply anything but I think the Austrians should perhaps watch out before using that word. Case in Point: a group of neonazis doing the sieg chant in the subway on the way home ds.

Gumpoldskirchen? Is that where you wanted to travel to?,the elite in the business world of Austria live there and most are over the age of 80 but I had no time to really comment on the locals attitude as I was there only 1 day and night.

I couldnt live there, but that has more to do with the governments tax laws......the worse in Europe.

As I said, clumsily written by me, did not mean to imply you in anything what so ever.

Austria is built for white men over fifty I think. We could start a collective over here when we ripen.

As for the taxes, we can bribe ourselves into paying little to no tax. They have little to no anti corruption police.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Seems a lot of countries are having quite a few friendlies and some having qualifiers this end of season.

When RoI play Spain on Tuesday in NY it would have been their 4th game since the season ended.

Why can't UEFA and FIFA get their collective thick skulls together and realise that instead of worthless friendlies they should use this time totally for qualifiers and fuck off the friendlies - save interrupting the season as much and the numbers of friendly games being played is proof to me that they can be done.

Viewing figures would be better for a start!

So he is going to be out for how long? I assume he can play in a mask to speed his return up but that sounds rather serious.

Just been flicking through Wiziwig and noticed Spain play Haiti tonight at 9 in a friendly. Wonder if Dave and Navas will get a run-out; Isco?

Absolute warrior. He played for an hour with those 3 injuries.

Here's a link with more photos and a video:

No idea how long he will be "out". I cant imagine he'd miss anytime in the new season.
